Sheetal Vyas features this year’s Yaksha and Mahashivratri celebrations in Outlook Traveller magazine. Titled “Holy Days,” she has many praises for all the Yaksha artistes, with a special word for Odissi danseuse Madhavi Mudgal and Carnatic virtuoso T.M. Krishna.

At the “wild party” on Mahashivratri, she sways to Aruna Sairam and Raghu Dixit, and listens to Sadhguru’s discourse and watches Anita Ratnam dance. Her “holy-day” culminates the next morning at the Dhyanalinga.
