Why Saptarishi Arati?
Saptarishi Arati is a powerful process taught by Shiva to his disciples - the seven sages - thousands of years ago. The process has been preserved in its pure form by priests of the Kashi Vishwanath temple in Varanasi.
Every year, on winter solstice, seven priests from Kashi conduct the Saptarishi Arati to offer gratitude to the Saptarishis for being a vehicle for Shiva’s grace. This is the only occasion when it is offered outside the Kashi Vishwanath temple.
Sadhguru explains that this technology was transmitted by Shiva to the Saptarishis thousands of years ago, with Devi as the witness. When Saptarishis had to go to different parts of the world and offer the science of Yoga, they asked him, “How can we carry your presence with us?” and thus began the Saptarishi Arati.

Registration is mandatory to attend the program. Anyone above 8 years of age can register. Those who have not attended any Isha programs can also participate.

Yes, you can join the Saptarishi Arati online for free by registering in advance.
The program will be conducted in English and live translation will be available in Tamil.
If you need live translation during the program, please bring a mobile phone with FM radio enabled and a wired headset.
The event is on 22 December 2023 from 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM IST. Please plan to arrive at the venue at least 4 hours ahead of the scheduled time so that you can check in and be seated in time. You can plan your return after 9:30 PM. The check-in time will be communicated via email closer to the program.
No. Ethnic Indian wear is preferable.
Unfortunately, we are unable to provide child care during the program. We advise you not to bring children below the age of 8 with you.
No, the seating is common for both.
You can register for multiple participants using a single login.
If you are attending the program in person, you can offer it in person. In-person offerings at the venue will be available until 4 PM.
If you are not attending the program in person, you can make the offering online.
Please note that the program fee does not include accommodation. If you wish to stay at the Yoga Center, you can check the availability and place a booking enquiry online at cottage.isha.in.
It would be best to come with as little luggage as possible as there is no allotted space for storage. Please note that carrying food inside the venue is not allowed. Water and food will be available at designated areas.
● From Coimbatore Airport: At the airport, pre-paid taxis to Isha Yoga Center are available for a fixed price. The drive will take about 1.5 hours.

● From Coimbatore Railway Station: At the railway station, taxis are readily available. The drive will take about 1 hour. Regular buses from the railway station to the Yoga Center are also available.
● From Coimbatore Bus Stand: Regular buses from Gandhipuram, Coimbatore to Isha Yoga Center are available every half hour starting from 5:30 AM. Here is the Bus Time Table.
