Terms and Conditions of Saptarishi Arati

Effective as of the date communicated at the time of registration

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms & Conditions/Terms”) are legally binding between you ("You") and Shri Yogini Trust  ("We" or "Us") for your registration to participate in the Saptarishi Arati (“Event”) at Isha Yoga Center, Coimbatore. 

You agree that by registering for this Event and accessing this website www.isha.sadhguru.org ("Site"), You have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If You do not agree with all of these Terms, then You are expressly prohibited from using the Site and You must discontinue its use immediately.

You hereby represent and warrant that You are competent to enter into these Terms. You confirm that You have read, understood and agreed to these Terms. We reserve the right to revise the Terms & Conditions at any time and at Our sole discretion. 

1. Definition:

"Group Registration" shall mean multiple people registering together, having one participant as a primary participant. The participants understand that the category of Group Registration is open solely for the purpose of ease of registration.

2. User Registration: 

2.1 The minimum age limit to participate in the Event is 8 years. But no one under 18 years shall register for the Event on his/her own or provide any personal information in this regard without parental consent. 

2.2 Participants who have registered and are between the ages of 8 and 18 must necessarily be accompanied by parents or guardians. The parents and guardians accompanying such children have to register separately.  

2.3 One applicant can register a maximum of 6 (six) individuals for this Event.

2.4 To register for the Event, You must provide complete and accurate details/information as asked for in the registration page.  

2.5 Your registration for the Event will be complete only after You receive a confirmation email, confirming Your registration and participation.  

2.6 The Event registrations are subject to availability.

2.7 If You are accessing the Site from outside the territory of India, then You must be of competent age to enter into a contract as per the laws of Your country. .

3. Payment: 

3.1 The payment must be made in full before the commencement of the Event. 

3.2 We accept the following mode of payments, i.e., Debit / Credit Cards, Net Banking, e-Wallets and UPI.

3.3 In the event the prerequisites as mentioned in these Terms & Conditions are not fulfilled, We reserve the right to cancel Your registration.

3.4 If you have already attempted a payment but your registration has not been updated, please wait at least 24 hours before retrying. This ensures the transaction has enough time to process and reflect in the booking system, helping to avoid accidental duplicate payments.

3.5 Payments made under different registration IDs, even if for the same booker/participant, will not be considered duplicate payments. These will be treated as separate and intentional registration made by the booker/participant.

3.6 A payment will be considered a duplicate or double payment only when the same booking ID is charged more than once.

4. Refund and Cancellation Policy for "Saptarishi Arati at Isha Yoga Center, Coimbatore” 

All requests for cancellation and refunds must be submitted by the person who completed the booking, in accordance with the following terms:

4.1 If a refund request is received on or before 7days prior to the scheduled start date of the Event, 50% of the Event fee will be deducted for cancellations.

4.2 No requests for refund will be accepted after 7days before the scheduled start date of the Event, or for a no-show, or for incomplete attendance of the Event.

Please Note:

a. The request for refund should come from your registered email id by raising a request for the same on lb.events@lingabhairavi.org. No other mode of communication for refund requests will be accepted. 

b. The effective date for processing the refund will be from the formal receipt of the cancellation notification in writing with supporting documents where applicable.

c. The refund request will be processed within 60 days from the date of request from the registered email ID provided all required documents are in order.

d. In case You are not allowed to continue the Offering due to medical reasons or code of conduct, no refund can be claimed.  

e. The refund will be made to the same mode of payment/instrument from which the original payment was made.

5. Transfer 

Given the nature of the Event, there will not be any transfer to another person or future Event or event under any circumstances.

6. Upgrades: 

6.1 Only primary participants can request an upgrade.

6.2 An upgrade can be processed for the entire group or any one participant.

6.3 The payment for an upgrade has to be made by the primary participant only.

7. Accommodation

7.1 The Event registration includes accommodation only for the Kailash category participants, from 6:00 AM on the day of Event to 11:00 am on the next day of Event.

7.2 Each Kailash participant will be allocated a single occupancy cottage room.

7.3 If You wish to arrive early and/or extend Your visit beyond the Event dates, You may do so by booking accommodation for that period in advance. For cottage bookings, please visit: cottage.isha.in.

7.3 Please note that registration for the Event does not cover the provision of any accommodation facility by Isha Foundation for Manasarovar, Kedar and Kashi participants. You are requested to make your own accommodation arrangements. To book accommodation at the Isha Yoga Center, Coimbatore, please visit cottage.isha.in

7.4 In case of multiple participants registering together ("Group Registration"), the stay (or no stay) will be according to the category chosen for each participant. 

8. Medical Guidelines

8.1 You shall ensure that all the information provided is true and complete

8.2 You must carry Your regular medications while attending the Event.

8.3 In the event of a medical condition arising during the Event, You agree to abide by the recommendations made in Your best interests by the medical team in charge of the Event.

8.4 This might include taking medications, referral to a nearby hospital for further care, discontinuing the Event or leaving the Event venue.

8.5 If You do not comply with the recommendations of the medical team, You will be requested to discontinue the Event.

9. Disclaimer Regarding Third-Party Websites.

The Site is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. You agree that Your use of the Site services will be at Your sole risk. To the fullest extent permitted by law, We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, in connection with the Site and Your use thereof, including, without limitation, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We make no warranties or representations about the accuracy or completeness of the Site’s content or the content of any websites linked to this Site and We will assume no liability or responsibility for any (1) errors, mistakes, or inaccuracies of content and materials, (2) personal injury or property damage, of any nature whatsoever, resulting from Your access to and use of the Site, (3) any unauthorized access to or use of Our secure servers and/or any and all personal information and/or financial information stored therein, (4) any interruption or cessation of transmission to or from the Site, (5) any bugs, viruses, trojan horses, or the like which may be transmitted to or through the Site by any third party, and/or (6) any errors or omissions in any content and materials or for any loss or damage of any kind incurred as a result of the use of any content posted, transmitted, or otherwise made available via the Site. We do not warrant, endorse, guarantee, or assume responsibility for any product or service advertised or offered by a third-party through the Site, any hyperlinked website, or any website or mobile application featured in any banner or other advertising, and We will not be a party to or in any way be responsible for monitoring any transaction between You and any third-party providers of products or services.  The terms and conditions provided in the third-party website would be applicable for your transactions on those websites. Your interaction with this website does not mean that the terms of the third-party website are not applicable for your transaction therein.


10. Code of Conduct: 

You shall behave in such a way as to create a safe, supportive, learning environment while at the Program. You shall comply with the following:

Dress Code - Both men and women should wear clothing that covers shoulders, upper arms, midriff, and legs down to their ankles. Tight or transparent clothing should not be worn.

Behaviour - You shall uphold the sanctity, serenity, and safety of the Venue through respectful and lawful conduct at all times. You are required to comply with all applicable laws and adhere to a strict code of ethical and personal behavior. Any act of assault, harassment (including verbal, physical, emotional, or sexual), child abuse, sexual misconduct, stalking, exploitation, or any other form of unlawful, unsafe, or disruptive behavior is strictly prohibited. Discriminatory or offensive speech or conduct—whether explicit or implied—based on race, caste, gender, sexual orientation, religion, nationality, age, or disability will not be tolerated under any circumstances.

Consumption - You shall not smoke, drink alcohol or consume any hallucinogenic or banned drug at the Venue premises.

Consequences - Participants engaging or threatening to engage in such behavior will be asked to leave the Program immediately, and such Participants will not be eligible to receive a refund of any fees paid towards their participation in the Program.

If You witness such behavior mentioned above, please promptly contact the Program Volunteers in order to take appropriate action. We reserve the right to initiate legal action or follow the due process of law, if You violate the code of conduct or any laws.

11. Assumption of Risk: 

You acknowledge and agree that Your attendance and participation in the Event is voluntary. You agree to assume the risks associated with attending and participating in the Event to the fullest extent permitted under applicable law.  To the extent permissible by law, You agree to indemnify Us against any and all claims, actions, losses and damages arising out of or relating to Your participation in the Event.

12. Information About You: 

You consent to the collection and use of Your personal information that You provide in connection with the Event, by Us.  We will use Your information to send details and announcements related to the Event to You. Any personal information that You provide to Us online will be handled in accordance with the laws and regulations of India. We are committed to protecting Your personal information and Your right to privacy. Our Privacy Policy governs the privacy policies of Our Site. You agree that We may use any information that We obtain about You in accordance with the provisions of Our Privacy Policy. Please read Our Privacy Policy carefully as it will help You make informed decisions about sharing Your personal information with Us.   We may collect data either directly from you or through a third party acting on your behalf, such as someone making a booking for you.

13. License to Use Items: 

In consideration of the opportunity to participate in the Event, You grant Us an irrevocable, non-exclusive, royalty-free right and license throughout the world and in perpetuity to reproduce, edit, publish, distribute or translate, for promotional / educational purposes, all or any part of the following items ("Items"): (a) all still photographs (b) all audio and video recordings in connection with the Event. You consent to the use of the Items pursuant to the foregoing in perpetuity without compensation (unless prohibited by law) or additional consents from You and waive any moral rights You may have in the Items.

14. Waiver of Liability: 

In consideration of being allowed to register for, and participate in the Event, You hereby warrant and represent that You are at least 8 years of age with parental consent or above 18 years of age and freely waive, release from liability, assume all risks, and covenant not to sue Us  or Our members, employees, board members, agents, or volunteers for any expense, loss, damage, personal injury, including loss of life, disability, property damage, or property theft or actions of any kind that You may hereafter suffer or sustain before, during, or after the Event, unless said expense, loss, damage, personal injury, including loss of life, disability, property damage or property theft or actions of any kind is caused by the sole, gross negligence of Us. This Waiver of Liability is specifically binding upon Your heirs and assigns and is knowingly given by You.

15. Force Majeure: 

In the event that it is made impossible or impracticable or illegal for Us to proceed with or y out this Event in whole or in part, due to any natural calamity, general or specific order of government, fire, casualty, flood, earthquake, war, strike, demonstrations, lockout, pandemic, epidemic, destruction of its facilities, riot, insurrection, materials unavailability, or any other cause(s) beyond Our reasonable control,  and as a result thereof, We may delay, postpone, reschedule, terminate and/or cancel this Event, We will not be liable for any losses or damages incurred by the Participant.

16. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution: 

Disputes shall be resolved via online arbitration under https://cnica-odr.com/  and its Rules. Notices and other communication to be served/provided electronically. Arbitration venue shall be in Chennai, language in English, under Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. Courts at Coimbatore shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

17. Limitations of Liability:

In no event will We or Our subsidiaries, affiliates, and all of Our respective officers, volunteers, agents, partners, teachers, trustees, founder and employees be liable to You or any third party for any direct, indirect, consequential, exemplary, incidental, special, or punitive damages, including lost profit, lost revenue, loss of data, or other damages arising from Your use of the Site, even if We have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained herein, Our liability to You for any cause whatsoever and regardless of the form of the action will at all times be limited to the cost of the Event.  

18. Indemnification:

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold Us harmless, including Our subsidiaries, affiliates, and all of Our respective officers, volunteers, agents, partners, teachers, trustees, founder and employees from and against any loss, damage, liability, claim, or demand, including reasonable attorneys’ fees and expenses, made by any third party due to or arising out of Your participation in the Event and/or breach of these Terms & Conditions. 

Notwithstanding the foregoing, We reserve the right, at Your expense, to assume the exclusive defense and control of any matter for which You are required to indemnify Us, and You agree to cooperate, at Your expense, with such claims. We will use reasonable efforts to notify You of any such claim, action, or proceeding which is subject to this indemnification upon becoming aware of it. 

19. Miscellaneous:

19.1 The Terms & Conditions listed herein are subject to change from time to time. Any modifications to the "Terms & Conditions" will be posted on the Site and shall be notified to You through email. The modified Terms & Conditions shall also be binding upon You. 

19.2 The Event is subject to changes as per the directions issued by the Government and the local health authorities from time to time.

19.3 You agree that Your failure to adhere to any of the Terms & Conditions set out above or any other provision of these Terms & Conditions shall constitute a breach of these Terms & Conditions on Your part, which may result in the termination of Your access to the Site and/or participation in the Event.

19.4 If any provision or part of a provision of these Terms & Conditions is determined to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable, that provision or part of the provision is deemed severable from these Terms & Conditions and does not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining provisions. There is no joint venture, partnership, employment or agency relationship created between You and Us as a result of these Terms & Conditions or use of the Site. 

19.5 You agree that these Terms & Conditions will not be construed against Us by virtue of having drafted them.
