(3 days Residential program)
"Neither health nor joy can be created from outside. There may be external stimuli, but essentially, both come from within." - Sadhguru
Who is this program designed for?
This program is ideally suited to those accustomed to busy lifestyles and a breakneck pace. The program serves as a refreshing pause from day-to-day stress and enables you to re-establish yourself in health and vitality. We have generally found that these programs work best if you are new to Isha or yoga in general. Also, people who have been through an Isha program but have lost touch with Isha find these programs a wonderful opportunity to re-connect with the ashram.
What can you expect from these programs?
During the Program, you will have an opportunity to learn simple strengthening, balancing and relaxing yogic practices. You can undergo Ayurvedic therapies, participate in recreational group games and explore nearby walking trails that border the adjacent forest. You can also be part of the Nadha Aradhana, a profound offering of sound at the Dhyanalinga. The programs also include Sadhguru’s talks, which combine eternal wisdom applied to contemporary situations. You will undergo Ayurvedic therapies which help to detoxify the body and relax the mind. The program also includes a medical consultation with our medical team, who will prescribe appropriate supportive and rejuvenating medicines suited to your unique health conditions, which you can take back home. During the program, you will be given revitalizing tonics for your well-being. At the end of the program, you feel refreshed and de-stressed, carrying back with you memories of time well spent in your quest for health and wellbeing.

Given the nature of the schedule, you are encouraged not to involve yourself in any work-related activities. During the program, it is advisable to spend more time in the unique consecrated spaces of the Isha Yoga Center. These spaces create an atmosphere that supports and catalyzes the rejuvenation process in the system.
You can experience transformative effects by being at the Yoga Center.
Yes. However, please note that the program schedules are quite intensive and may leave you with limited time to spend with your family. If you are bringing children, ensure that an attendant is available to take care of them.

Isha Yoga is a comprehensive system derived from the ancient science of Yoga to establish a deep and lasting personal transformation. It is a method of aligning your body, mind, emotions and energies to function at their peak and in complete harmony. It does not require any physical fitness or previous knowledge of Yoga and is easy to integrate into any lifestyle. At Isha, Yoga is taught in its full depth and dimension and communicated on an experiential level. The program includes Shambhavi Mahamudra Kriya – a powerful 21-minute process. If practiced daily, it will deepen your experience of life, enabling you to explore your own self and the world with a heightened perception.
Isha Health Solutions programs are a doorway to holistic living that take you beyond the conventional spa experience. They are scientifically structured and combine traditional systems of medicine, potent therapies, and the sublime wisdom of ancient Indian practices. The disease-specific programs are rigorous, intense and focused, where interventions are geared towards people who have chronic health conditions. The Ayur programs are a refreshing break to those accustomed to hectic urban lifestyles and are therapeutic for day-to-day stresses.
The nearest hospital is in Coimbatore city, about 1.5 hours away by road. There is a small clinic on site at the Isha Yoga Center for basic medical needs, which is equipped with an ambulance facility.
It would be wonderful if you could participate. However, those with multiple food allergies may face certain dietary challenges. An individualized diet cannot be provided, as all meals at the Center are prepared in a centralized kitchen.
The program diet consists of wholesome vegetarian food based on Indian cuisine, with an emphasis on seasonal, locally sourced fruits and vegetables, nutritious whole grains, mild spices, salads, herbal teas and tonics, fresh juices, and traditional Indian snacks and savories. Ingredients such as milk, sugar, nuts, and wheat may be used in various preparations.
If this dietary format is suitable for you, you may proceed with the registration process with confidence.
During the program, a reasonable amount of walking is involved. Being comfortably mobile will help you make the most of the experience.
At present, arrangements cannot be made for those who are confined to a wheelchair or unable to walk even short distances.
Yes, please bring all your regular medication with you. It is important to continue taking it during the program, unless advised otherwise following a consultation with the medical team.
It will not be possible to volunteer or attend other programs during this time, apart from Pancha Bhuta Aradhana or Pournami Pooja, which are included in the program schedule. The schedule is quite intensive and does not leave room for additional activities.
To get the most out of the program, it is advisable to focus your time and energies fully on it. If you wish to volunteer or participate in other events at the Isha Yoga Center, consider planning this before or after the program.
Two types of accommodation are available—Nadi Cottages and Nalanda.
Due to the nature and intensity of the program schedule, staying on the Isha Yoga Center premises is mandatory. Accommodation outside the Center cannot be used for commuting to the program. Even if you have access to accommodation on the premises, it is required to stay in the designated program accommodation for the duration of the course.
There is a mandatory dress code for program participants and visitors at the Isha Yoga Center. This is in keeping with the local culture, and also supports a more conducive experience during the program—whether for sitting comfortably on the floor, being receptive to the environment, or adapting to the weather.
During practice sessions, wear long T-shirts and track pants, or salwars and kurtas. Clothing should be loose-fitting, comfortable, and preferably made of cotton. Sarees, skirts, and dhotis are not suitable for practice sessions.
During the day, Indian formal wear is recommended (for men: kurta–pyjama, or pants and shirt; for women: salwar–kurta or sarees). If Indian clothing is not easily available, opt for loose-fitting tops that extend to mid-thigh and cover the upper arms, along with ankle-length cotton pants. Suitable clothing can also be purchased at Isha Life upon arrival.
Once registration is confirmed, a welcome letter will be shared with a detailed list of items to bring, including specific clothing guidelines.
