"Save The Weave" is an initiative to revitalize the weaves of ancient India. The initiative envisions a landscape where the variety of sustainable fabrics is myriad, rich and abundant, while staying contemporary and versatile enough to be worn globally. Save The Weave is just as much about reinstating the use of natural and handmade garments over synthetic and machine-made ones as it is about realizing the impact our clothing has on our mental and physical wellbeing. It is a conscious shift in how we dress today. As part of the movement, we are undertaking specific initiatives to revive more than 120 unique weaves indigenous to rural India, including adopting looms and weaving clusters, facilitating the use of natural dyes, developing market access and more.
