Those who are Isha meditators know what a rare opportunity it is to be in the Master’s presence. The sheer joy of being in a satsang is inexplicable. It is a truly precious moment when you simply get to BE with Sadhguru; and especially when a satsang is organized after three years, people are just dying to be there. The satsang was held on the evening of 4th June, 2019 at National Sports Club of India, Worli, a beautiful venue nestled by the sea.

A chance to serve the Master

Volunteers from Mumbai and nearby places like Pune, flocked in at the venue on 4th morning with such zeal that there were already a hundred volunteers at the venue at 6:45 AM! By 10 AM, over 500 of us had gathered. Such is the affection that meditators have for Sadhguru that on a weekday, volunteers took leave from their offices and colleges to dedicate themselves to making the event a special one for all the participants.

Going strong on a weekday

Not only was the satsang held on a Tuesday, it was also at 7 PM. Those who live in Mumbai know the perils of stepping out during peak traffic hours. But neither weekday nor the daunting timing could deter the meditators who just wouldn’t miss the chance to be in the Master’s presence. A whopping number of 8000 participants were present!

A grand welcome!

108 volunteers enchanted everyone by starting off with a splendid live performance of soulful music. This talented team of 108 singers was led by Parthiv Gohil. They not only stirred the hearts of all those who were present but also set a beautiful ambience for experiencing the Master.

Of wit, humor, warmth and intensity

Of course, the huge number of meditators who came for the satsang got what they came for, and more. An enchanting evening graced by Sadhguru at his wittiest best, his rollicking humor, the warmth with which he addressed burning questions and of course the intense meditation session.

Why do I volunteer?

One of the biggest reasons why I volunteer is because I feel that Sadhguru is investing his life in us and volunteering is my own way of expressing my gratitude. Whenever I have volunteered for any event, I’ve inevitably noticed a sheer rise in my energy levels. No matter how sleep deprived you are, you will never feel an iota of fatigue. Even here, the Master is taking care of us! J The electric atmosphere is absolutely infectious and volunteers around you are just so joyful and completely dedicated. Every time I volunteer, something inside me shifts. I find myself going through tough situations so effortlessly that it surprises me. Volunteering with Isha has definitely helped me break many limitations. This is what keeps pulling me back for more.
