As I crush the fragile snow in my step
to expose the brooding blackness of the soil

The countless men that walked
upon this life-sustaining soil
to be sucked in by this dark soil in life recycle
seem to creep up my feet and claim
everything that I thought as me
as a part of themselves

All that is me is just a segment
in the continuum of eternal recycle

Having lost the joy of not knowing
but soaked in the blissful heaviness of knowing
I plod on, exposing ancestral pain
and sprightly spring in silent waiting

Me continuing to expose
the brooding darkness of the soil
with every step being a continuum
of the eternal Recycle
