Making of a Hatha Yogi Part 2: What Happens Next
The trainees have settled down to the Isha Hatha Yoga Teacher Training program and are getting into the routine of twice-a-day hatha yoga sessions. They have recently begun the practice of Surya Kriya, a potent yogic process of tremendous antiquity.
The group also went for a walk last week to a nearby village farm, that gave them a complete view of the Velliangiri mountains. This was also a good opportunity for them to get to know one another, with many of them coming from various countries and backgrounds.
Later in the week, as a surprise, the volunteers prepared a special moonlight dinner for the group. A variety of specially prepared food was served with Sounds of Isha adding some magical melody to the evening.
Editor’s Note: Isha Hatha Yoga programs are an extensive exploration of classical hatha yoga, which revive various dimensions of this ancient science that are largely absent in the world today. These programs offer an unparalleled opportunity to explore Upa-yoga, Angamardana, Surya Kriya, Surya Shakti, Yogasanas and Bhuta Shuddhi, among other potent yogic practices.
