[video] Isha: On the Threshold of a Possibility
The silent revolution of self-realization that we started 21 years ago is no more silent, it is roaring. A huge wave of yoga is going to happen in a completely different way. Nothing fundamental about the Foundation, our attitude or our goals will change. Our complexion will not change, but our methods of delivery are going to change dramatically. We have waited for this transition to mature to this point and now we will be slowly engineering it step-by-step in the coming year. This is not some knee-jerk reaction, this is a long-term plan. And you will see, it will work miraculously well.
Just two months ago, you wouldn’t have imagined 10,000 people can be initiated in a single day. The spiritual process which people thought is only on the hilltop in a temple has now come down to the street, into people’s homes, lives and hearts. And that process is going to multiply manifold – we have set plans and goals that in the next few years, there should not be a single human being in Tamil Nadu without at least one drop of spirituality in him.
A shift in human consciousness will definitely happen. The necessary tools, the necessary methods, and the necessary energy to make the shift will flow. How big a shift depends on how many people push it. If you have seen something is valuable, it doesn’t matter what the hell is happening, we must make sure that what is valuable happens, isn’t it? A hard-core spiritual process like this has rarely found this level of acceptance in the society. We have somehow crafted it, and it has taken a lot. This generation of people can commit themselves to ensure that there is a huge upsurge in human consciousness. Raising consciousness does not mean teaching them something. Raising consciousness means to make them hungry for something more than food and money, wealth and pleasure – to make them hungry to know and to become accessible to something bigger than what they know right now. Consciousness will rise by itself; you just have to make them hungry enough.
One tremendous thing today in the world is, for the first time, we have a technological capability to sit here and talk to the whole world if we wish. I am sure Aadhi Yogi himself will envy me today because even he could not speak to the whole world. So we are on a threshold of this possibility because the technologies of today give us the possibility to reach the whole world. That is where we are sitting – on the threshold of a great possibility. I don’t want a possibility to remain a possibility. I want it to become a reality. If everybody is committed, it is not far away at all.
