Event Schedule

12:30 PM to 8:00 PM

  • 12:30 PM to 3:30 PM: Mahashula and Nandi Consecration by Sadhguru

  • 4:00 PM onwards: 

    • All participants can offer oil to Nandi

    • Culmination of sadhana by tying the black cloth to Mahashula

  • 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM: Sankranti Jathre - A vibrant cultural festival (Open to all)

Preparatory Sadhana

Sadhguru has offered a sadhana for participants to become receptive to the consecration process:

  • The sadhana must be done for a minimum of 3 days or 7 days before the event.

  • Tie a black cloth above the elbow (on the left hand for ladies and right hand for gents). The cloth should be long enough to go around one’s arm twice, while the width should be 3/4 inch and length 12 inches.

  • Chant Yoga Yoga Yogeshwaraya 12 times, twice a day.

  • Eat your first meal after 12 PM. 

  • Maintain silence until 12 PM if possible.

  • Culminate the sadhana by tying the black cloth to the Mahashula during the program on 15 January.

How to get there

Sadhguru Sannidhi Bengaluru is located near Nandi Hills in Chikkaballapura district, 65 kilometers north of Bengaluru.

The Center is 45 km from the Kempegowda International Airport, Bengaluru (60-minute drive) and 63 km from the Cantonment Railway Station, Bengaluru (80-minute drive).

A two-way bus service between various points in Bengaluru city and Sadhguru Sannidhi has been organized for participants. (Please note that this facility is being provided by a travel company, not Isha.) For bus travel reservations, please click here. Please make your reservations by 12 January 2024.

Taxis are available from Bengaluru to Sadhguru Sannidhi. Regular bus services also operate between Bengaluru and Chikkaballapura town, as well as between Chikkaballapura town and Sadhguru Sannidhi.
