Isha Yoga Center, which issued travel advisories well before the COVID virus was declared a pandemic by the World Health Organization (WHO), has reported that it continues to be a COVID-free zone. Health inspectors from the Public Health Department have conducted regular testing at the Center and have certified that its current occupancy of over 2500, has zero COVID-positive cases. The Center is home to more than 4000 residents, many of whom are currently stranded in different parts of the world owing to the worldwide travel embargo.

The foundation stone ceremony for the Mantapam was held yesterday at the Isha Yoga Center. The Mantapam will be located near the Malai Vassal entrance of the Yoga Center. The ceremony was streamed live to audiences around the world. It was not open to public in view of the pandemic.

All 9 Isha Vidhya schools announced 100% pass rate in the State Board Exams held this March. Results were declared yesterday. 219 students had appeared for their Higher Secondary Board exams. All passed with first class results and improved their previous performance by posting an average of 70%.

The RfR Board held a virtual meeting to review progress of RfR’s two ongoing projects: Cauvery Calling in Karnataka and Tamil Nadu and Waghadi River Revitalization Project in Yavatmal district, in Maharashtra. Sadhguru said, "I feel the Karnataka government has been exemplary in their support. There has been a phenomenal level of support which is translating into action on the ground."

Researchers from the Indiana University School of Medicine have released new evidence-based study findings on the beneficial effects of Isha Foundation’s advanced 4-day Advanced Inner Engineering Retreat. Senthilkumar Sadhasivam, MD, Vice-Chair of Research, Department of Anesthesia at the Indiana University School of Medicine led the research effort. Researchers from Harvard Medical School and Rutgers also contributed to the study. The findings have been published in the Evidence-Based Complementary and Alternative Medicine journal, Vol. 2020.
