About Mahakshetra Nirmana
Sadhguru has announced that the long‑awaited consecration of Linga Bhairavi, Teerthakunds and Navagraha will take place at Sadhguru Sannidhi Bengaluru in September-October 2026. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to be a part of a profound step in the creation of an extraordinary sacred space.
Inside the Consecration
Consecration is a powerful process that involves transforming a mere space into a spiritual possibility using one’s own life energies. Traditionally, such processes were conducted only in close, intimate circles and accessible only to a privileged few. However, Sadhguru is now extending this possibility to thousands.
Mahakshetra Nirmana opens the door to experiencing three powerful consecrations.
Linga Bhairavi is the most exuberant expression of the Divine Feminine. Refined and raw, powerful and vibrant, earthy, humane and mother-like, Linga Bhairavi is an absolute woman of ultimate proportions, fierce and compassionate at once. Whether a devotee seeks to enjoy the physical and material aspects of life, or transcend them, Devi is the Ultimate Giver of all that and more.
Teerthakunds are sacred water bodies energized by consecrated lingas. Sadhguru will consecrate two teerthakunds — Chandrakund for women, with a slightly feminine energy, and Suryakund for men, which is more masculine in nature. Taking a dip in these energized water bodies straightens out pranic imbalances, enhances physiological and psychological wellbeing, and heightens spiritual receptivity.
Widely mistranslated as "planet," the word "graha" actually means "to perceive" or "to be influenced by." Traditionally in Bharat, the culture identified nine celestial influences, or Navagraha, that shape human life. The Navagraha consecration, the first ever by Sadhguru, will be based on the science of aligning oneself with these influences to catalyze success in various aspects of life and pave the way for spiritual growth.
