These projects have empowered millions by enhancing their socio-economic wellbeing, and achieved community-based sustainable development.

Our Projects
Cauvery Calling
Cauvery Calling is the world’s largest farmer-driven eco-restoration movement. A first-of-its-kind campaign, it is setting the standard for how rivers in the tropical world can be revitalized. The project aims to plant 2.42 billion trees in the 83,000 sq. km of the Cauvery River basin. It is supported by UNEP, UNCCD, UN ECOSOC, IUCN and other prominent organizations.

Farmers Producer Organizations (FPOs)
Velliangiri Uzhavan Farmer Producer Organization is an Isha-supported FPO that provides technical, financial and marketing support for farmers. Through Isha’s support, its farm produce sales grew from less than INR 1 lac in 2013-14 to INR 17.69 crores in 2021-22 at market benchmark prices, making it a model FPO for India.

Isha Kayantha Sthanams
Isha Kayantha Sthanams offer cremation services and death rituals rooted in ancient tradition. These processes are conducted in the spirit of service rather than as a commercial venture, and aim to provide dignity in death to all communities. The crematoriums are well-equipped, eco-friendly, avoid pollution and conserve natural resources.

Isha Vidhya
Isha Vidhya provides a scalable model for delivering quality education to rural children. Isha Vidhya currently runs 10 schools, benefitting over 10,000 children, 60% of whom are on scholarship. It also supports government schools through critical interventions that address some of their biggest challenges.

All our projects qualify for CSR because they are aligned with the Schedule VII activities of Section 135 of the Indian Companies Act.
