Terms and Conditions for Margazhi Sadhana

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms & Conditions/Terms”) are legally binding between you ("You or Participant") and Isha Foundation ("We" or "Us") for your registration to participate in Margazhi Sadhana  (“Program”).

You agree that by registering for this Program and accessing this Site www.isha.sadhguru.org ("Site"), you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If You do not agree with all of these Terms, then You are expressly prohibited from using the Site and you should discontinue your use of this Site immediately.

You hereby represent and warrant that You are competent to enter into these Terms. You confirm that You have read, understood and agreed to these Terms. We reserve the right to revise the Terms & Conditions at any time and at our sole discretion.

  1. USER REGISTRATION:

1.1 The minimum age limit to participate in the Program is 15 years. 

1.2 For participants under 18 years of age, parent / legal guardian must fill & sign the consent form before completing the registration.

1.3 For those who are below 18 years of age who wish to participate in the Program, a parent/legal guardian must volunteer in the same Program.

1.4 You can register for participation for yourself only, i.e., You will be considered the booker who completed the booking. In case the participant is a different person from the booker, the Terms and Conditions need to be accepted by the participant prior to participation in the Program, and the booker will ensure this.

1.5 In order to participate in this Program, you must have completed Inner Engineering and have been initiated into Shambhavi Mahamudra Kriya. 

1.6 In order to participate in the Program, you may be required to register and create an account on the program portal. You will receive a confirmation of your account’s creation through the email address you provide during registration.

1.7 When you register for the Program, you are agreeing to: (i) provide true, accurate, current, and complete information about yourself and (ii) maintain and promptly update your registration information to keep it true, accurate, current, and complete.

1.8 We have a right at our sole discretion to immediately suspend or terminate your account and refuse any and all current or future participation in the Program (or any portion thereof) if You provide any information that is untrue, inaccurate, not current, erroneous or incomplete; or We have reasonable grounds to suspect that such information is untrue, inaccurate, not current, or incomplete. 

1.9 You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and shall not share it with anyone.

1.10 Your registration for the Program will be complete only after You receive an email confirming Your registration and participation.

1.11 The Program registrations are subject to availability and we shall not be liable in case You are not able to register for the Program.

The term “Sadhana Period” and “Batch” refers to the following sets of Batches  for the Sadhana period.

3 DAY:

Batch 1 :- From 31-Dec-2025 to 2-Jan-2026

Batch 2 :- From 10-Jan-2026 to 12-Jan-2026

5 DAY:

Batch 1 :- From 31-Dec-2025 to 4-Jan-2026
Batch 2 :- From 8-Jan-2026 to 12-Jan-2026

7 DAY:

Batch 1 :- From 31-Dec-2025 to 6-Jan-2026

Batch 2 :- From 6-Jan-2026 to 12-Jan-2026

14 DAY:

Batch 1 :- From 30-Dec-2025 to 12-Jan-2026

21 DAY:

Batch 1 :- From 24-Dec-2025 to 13-Jan-2026

The term "Category" refers to BHOOMI and AGNI

2. PROGRAM GUIDELINES:

Below are a few guidelines to ensure You receive the Program in its totality and integrity:

2.1 Food and accommodation will be provided for the duration of the Program at the Program premises.

2.2 You will have to ensure that all the instructions and guidelines provided during the Program are strictly followed. 

3.  PAYMENT

3.1 The payment must be made in full, according to the chosen category, before the commencement of the Program. 

3.2 We accept the following mode of payments, i.e., Debit / Credit Cards, Net Banking, e-Wallets and UPI. 

3.3 In the event the prerequisites as mentioned in these Terms & Conditions are not fulfilled, We reserve the right to cancel Your registration and the refund will be done as per the Cancellation and Refund Policy provided below.

3.4 If you have already attempted a payment but your registration has not been updated, please wait at least 24 hours before retrying. This ensures the transaction has enough time to process and reflect in the booking system, helping to avoid accidental duplicate payments.

3.5 Payments made under different registration IDs, even if for the same booker/participant, will not be considered duplicate payments. These will be treated as separate and intentional registration made by the booker/participant.

3.6 A payment will be considered a duplicate or double payment only when the same booking ID is charged more than once.

4. CANCELLATION, REFUND, UPGRADE AND TRANSFER POLICY:

4.1 CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY

4.1.1 Cancellation requests must be filed at least 3 days before the start date of the Program at support.ishafoundation.org by the person who completed the booking.

4.1.2 The cancellation request must be accompanied with the necessary documents. If we don’t receive the necessary documents, your cancellation request shall not be processed for refund.

4.1.3 Refund Policy for Marghazi Sadhana

  • 80% of the Program Fee will be processed as refund for valid cancellation request received up to 3 days before the start date of Program. No refund requests shall be eligible thereafter. The person who completed the booking must contact support.ishafoundation.org within the time frame mentioned in these Terms to request for a refund. 

  • Refund request requires PDF copies of your Payment Receipt and a duly filled and signed Refund Request Form to be sent within seven days of filing your cancellation request or at least three days before the program start date, whichever is earlier. 

  • For online payments, the refund will be made by the same mode of payment, i.e., via credit/debit card or bank account transfer, and the funds will be credited to the respective credit/debit card or bank account. Refunds made for offline payments like cash will be made only through NEFT into Indian bank accounts only. 

  • The refund will be processed within 30 days, provided that all the required documents are in order.

  • There will be no refund for a no-show.

  • If you leave the Program for any reason, you will not be eligible for a refund  and we will consider this as a cancellation of your registration.

4.2 UPGRADE: 

4.2.1 Upgrade of categories/ higher Sadhana period is allowed until 3 days before the Batch start date of the registered category/ sadhana Period, only to a category/ sadhana period which has not started (subject to availability). 

For example : if a participant has registered for Bhoomi 7 days starting 31st December 2025, he is eligible to upgrade his category / sadhana period to any higher category / Sadhana period. if the participant requests on 28th December 2025. He can upgrade to a category where the sadhana period has not yet started for example Agni : 7 days which will start from 6th January 2026

4.2.2 After registering, if a participant does not show up for the entire Sadhana Period, no refund will be given.

4.2.3 Participants may still be permitted to join at the start of the next Sadhana Period(s) even if they were unable to attend at the beginning of the previous one. However, they can only do so inside the series they have registered for.

Note:- It will not be possible for participants to join in between days. When the following sadhana time begins, they will be eligible to participate.
Once the Batch starts, transferring from one category to another is allowed with the below mentioned condition. i.e. transferring from Bhoomi category to Agni or vice versa.

  • If the necessary facilities and arrangements are available in the new category series.

  • Participants will have to pay the full amount for the new category. There will be no refund for the category that was booked already.

  • Participants can join only when the next Sadhana Period starts. They cannot join in between days.

  e.g. If a participant has registered Bhoomi 21 day, after the Series  started, if they want to change it to Agni 7 Day,

  • Participant needs to pay for Agni 7 Day

  • No Refund will be given or they cannot use the amount paid  for Bhoomi 21 day for participating in Agni 7 Day

  • Participants can join only when the Agni 7 Day selected batch starts.

4.3 TRANSFER:

4.3.1 Transfer to another batch of the same category is allowed until 3 days before the Batch start date of the registered category/ sadhana Period, only to a category/ sadhana period which has not started (subject to availability).

4.3.2 Transfer of registration to another participant is not allowed.

4.3.3 Transfer to any other program of Isha Foundation is not allowed.

5. ADMISSION:

We reserve the right to allow admission into the Program and/cancellation of Your participation at Our sole discretion. We shall not be responsible for anything once You leave the Program or are asked to do so.

6. VOLUNTARY PARTICIPATION:

The Participants  acknowledges that participation in the  Programs and visiting our site is done voluntarily and that you alone are 100% solely and personally responsible for your participation in our site, Programs and for any outcomes or results that result therefrom (whether positive or negative). You acknowledge that you have or will use your own due diligence and judgment before implementing any knowledge or information you received from our site. Isha Foundation is not responsible for any action you may choose to take regarding the information provided, and you acknowledge and agree that we are not responsible nor liable to you should you sustain any financial harm, physical injuries or any negative ramifications. The Participant acknowledges that the information contained on this site is intended as general information only and you agree that any decisions you make to implement or follow anything you find on the site are wholly your own.

7. CODE OF CONDUCT:

You agree to behave in such a way as to create a safe, supportive, learning environment while at the Program. You shall comply with the following:

Dress Code - Both men and women should wear clothing that covers shoulders, upper arms, midriff, and legs down to their ankles. Tight or transparent clothing should not be worn.

Behaviour - You are expected to uphold the sanctity, serenity, and safety of the Program space through respectful and lawful conduct at all times. You are required to comply with all applicable laws and adhere to a strict code of ethical and personal behavior. Any act of assault, harassment (including verbal, physical, emotional, or sexual), child abuse, sexual misconduct, stalking, exploitation, or any other form of unlawful, unsafe, or disruptive behavior is strictly prohibited. Discriminatory or offensive speech or conduct—whether explicit or implied—based on race, caste, gender, sexual orientation, religion, nationality, age, or disability will not be tolerated under any circumstances.

Consumption - The consumption or use of the following is strictly prohibited and You shall not smoke, drink alcohol or consume any hallucinogenic or banned drug at the Program premises.

Consequences - Participants engaging or threatening to engage in such behavior will be asked to leave the Program immediately, and such Participants will not be eligible to receive a refund of any fees paid towards their participation in the Program. We reserve the right to initiate legal action or follow the due process of law if You violate the code of conduct or any laws.

If You witness such behavior mentioned above, please promptly contact the Program Volunteers in order to take appropriate action.

8. ASSUMPTION OF RISK:

You acknowledge and agree that Your attendance and participation in the Program is voluntary. You agree to assume the risks associated with attending and participating in the Program to the fullest extent permitted under applicable law. To the extent permissible by law, You agree to indemnify Us against any and all claims, actions, losses and damages arising out of or relating to Your participation in the Program.

9. INFORMATION ABOUT YOU:

Your consent to the collection and use of Your personal information that You provide in connection with the Program, by Us. We will use Your information to send details and announcements related to the Program to You. Any personal information that You provide to Us online will be handled in accordance with the laws and regulations of India. We are committed to protecting Your personal information and Your right to privacy. Our Privacy Policy governs the privacy policies of Our Site. You agree that We may use any information that We obtain about You in accordance with the provisions of Our Privacy Policy. Please read Our Privacy Policy carefully as it will help You make informed decisions about sharing Your personal information with Us.

10. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS:

Unless otherwise indicated, the website is Our proprietary property and all source code, databases, functionality, software, website designs, audio, video, text, photographs, and graphics on the Site (collectively, the “Content”) and the trademarks, service marks, and logos contained therein (the “Marks”) are owned by Us, and are protected by copyright and trademark laws and various other intellectual property rights.

The Content and the Marks are provided on the site “as-is” for Your information and personal use only. Except as expressly provided in these Terms & Conditions, no part of the site and no Content or Marks may be copied, reproduced, aggregated, republished, uploaded, posted, publicly displayed, screen-shotted, photographed, screen-recorded, encoded, translated, transmitted, distributed, downloaded, edited, broadcasted, transferred, taught, used, sold, licensed, or otherwise exploited for any commercial or non-commercial purpose whatsoever, without Our express prior written permission.

Provided that You are eligible to use the website, You are granted a limited license to access and use the site to which You have properly gained access solely for Your participation in the Program. We reserve all rights not expressly granted to You in and to the website, the Content and the Marks.

11. PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES WHILE USING THE SITE:

You may not access or use the site for any purpose other than that for which We make the site available. The site may not be used in connection with any commercial endeavors except those that are specifically endorsed or approved by Us.

As a user of the site, You agree not to:

(a) systematically retrieve data or other content from the site to create or compile, directly or indirectly, a collection, compilation, database, or directory without written permission from Us.

(b) make any unauthorized use of the site, including collecting usernames and/or e-mail addresses of users by electronic or other means for the purpose of sending unsolicited emails, or creating user accounts by automated means or under false pretenses.

(c) circumvent, disable, or otherwise interfere with security-related features of the site, including features that prevent or restrict the use or copying of any Content or enforce limitations on the use of the site and/or the Content contained therein.

(d) engage in unauthorized framing of or linking to the site.

(e) trick, defraud, or mislead Us and other users, especially in any attempt to learn sensitive account information such as user passwords.

(f) make improper use of Our support services or submit false reports of abuse or misconduct.

(g) engage in any automated use of the system, such as using scripts to send comments or messages, or using any data mining, robots, or similar data gathering and extraction tools.

(h) interfere with, disrupt, or create an undue burden on the Site or the networks or services connected to the website.

(i) attempt to impersonate another user or person or use the username of another user.

(j) sell or otherwise transfer Your profile.

(k) use any information obtained from the site in order to harass, abuse, or harm another person.

(l) use the site as part of any effort to compete with Us or otherwise use the website and/or the Content for any revenue-generating endeavor or commercial enterprise.

(n) attempt to bypass any measures of the Site designed to prevent or restrict access to the website, or any portion of the website.

(o) harass, annoy, intimidate, or threaten any of Our employees or agents engaged in providing any portion of the website to You.

(p) delete the copyright or other proprietary rights notice from any Content.

(q) copy or adapt the website’s software, including but not limited to Flash, PHP, HTML, JavaScript, or other code.

(r) upload or transmit (or attempt to upload or to transmit) viruses, Trojan horses, or other material, including excessive use of capital letters and spamming (continuous posting of repetitive text), that interferes with any party’s uninterrupted use and enjoyment of the Site or modifies, impairs, disrupts, alters, or interferes with the use, features, functions, operation, or maintenance of the website.

(s) upload or transmit (or attempt to upload or to transmit) any material that acts as a passive or active information collection or transmission mechanism, including without limitation, clear graphics interchange formats (“gifs”), 1×1 pixels, web bugs, cookies, or other similar devices (sometimes referred to as “spyware” or “passive collection mechanisms” or “pcms”).

(t) except as may be the result of standard search engine or Internet browser usage, use, launch, develop, or distribute any automated system, including without limitation, any spider, robot, cheat utility, scraper, or offline reader that accesses the website, or uses or launches any unauthorized script or other software.

(u) disparage, tarnish, or otherwise harm, in Our opinion, Us and/or the website.

(v) use the site in a manner inconsistent with any applicable laws or regulations.

12. SITE MANAGEMENT:

We reserve the right, but not the obligation, to:

(a) monitor the site for violations of these Terms & Conditions;

(b) take appropriate legal action against anyone who, in Our sole discretion, violates the law or these Terms & Conditions, including without limitation, reporting such user to law enforcement authorities;

(c) in Our sole discretion and without limitation, refuse, restrict access to, limit the availability of, or disable (to the extent technologically feasible) any of Your Contributions or any portion thereof;

(d) in Our sole discretion and without limitation, notice, or liability, to remove from the site or otherwise disable all files and content that are excessive in size or are in any way burdensome to Our systems;

(e) otherwise manage the site in a manner designed to protect Our rights and property and to facilitate the proper functioning of the site. In addition to terminating or suspending Your account, We reserve the right to take appropriate legal action, including without limitation pursuing civil, criminal, and injunctive redress.

We cannot guarantee the site will be available at all times. We may experience hardware, software, or other problems or need to perform maintenance related to the website, resulting in interruptions, delays, or errors. We reserve the right to change, revise, update, suspend, discontinue, or otherwise modify the site at any time or for any reason without notice to You.

You agree that We have no liability whatsoever for any loss, damage, or inconvenience caused by Your inability to access or use the Site during any downtime or discontinuance of the website. Nothing in these Terms & Conditions will be construed to obligate Us to maintain and support the site or to supply any corrections, updates, or releases in connection therewith.

13. DISCLAIMER:

The site is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. You agree that Your use of the site services will be at Your sole risk. To the fullest extent permitted by law, We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, in connection with the site and Your use thereof, including, without limitation, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We make no warranties or representations about the accuracy or completeness of the site’s content or the content of any sites linked to this website and We will assume no liability or responsibility for any  (2) personal injury or property damage, of any nature out of Your own negligence  resulting from Your access to and use of the site, (3) any unauthorized access to or use of Our secure servers by third party and/or any and all personal information and/or financial information stored therein, not arising out of Our own negligence (4) any interruption or cessation of transmission to or from the site, (5) any bugs, viruses, trojan horses, or the like which may be transmitted to or through the site by any third party, and/or (6) any errors or omissions in any content and materials or for any loss or damage of any kind incurred as a result of the use of any content posted, transmitted, or otherwise made available via the site. We do not warrant, endorse, guarantee, or assume responsibility for any product or service advertised or offered by a third party through the site, any hyperlinked site, or any site or mobile application featured in any banner or other advertising, and We will not be a party to or in any way be responsible for monitoring any transaction between You and any third-party providers of products or services.

14. LICENSE TO USE ITEMS:

In consideration of the opportunity to participate in the Program, You grant Us an irrevocable, non-exclusive, royalty-free right and license throughout the world and in perpetuity to reproduce, edit, publish, distribute or translate, for promotional/educational purposes, all or any part of the following items ("Items"): (a) all still photographs (b) all audio and video recordings in connection with the Program. You consent to the use of the Items pursuant to the foregoing in perpetuity without compensation (unless prohibited by law) or additional consents from You and waive any moral rights You may have in the Items

15. WAIVER OF LIABILITY:

In consideration of being allowed to register for, and participate in the Program, You hereby warrant and represent that You are 18 years of age or at least 15 years of age with parental consent  and freely waive, release from liability, assume all risks, and covenant not to sue Us or Our members, employees, board members, agents, or volunteers for any expense, loss, damage, personal injury, including loss of life, disability, property damage, or property theft or actions of any kind that You may hereafter suffer or sustain before, during, or after the Program, unless said expense, loss, damage, personal injury, including loss of life, disability, property damage or property theft or actions of any kind is caused by the sole, gross negligence of Us. This Waiver of Liability is specifically binding upon Your heirs and assigns and is knowingly given by You.

16. FORCE MAJEURE:

In the event that it is made impossible or impracticable or illegal to proceed with or carry out this Program in whole or in part, due to any natural calamity, general or specific order of government, fire, casualty, flood, earthquake, war, strike, demonstrations, lockout, pandemic, epidemic, destruction of its facilities, riot, insurrection, power disruption, technical difficulties, internet connectivity, materials unavailability, or any other cause(s) beyond reasonable control and as a result thereof, there may be delay, postponement, rescheduling, termination and/or cancellation of this Program, and We will not be liable for any losses or damages incurred by You.

17. GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTE RESOLUTION:

If there is any conflict between these terms and rules and/or specific Terms & Conditions appearing on this Site relating to specific material, then the latter shall prevail. 

Any and all controversy(ies) / disputes) / difference(s)/ claim(s) / claim(s) in tort arising out of or in connection with or in relation to this Terms and Conditions, including its existence, validity or termination, shall be referred to and finally resolved by arbitration of sole Arbitrator nominated by the Council for National and International Commercial Arbitration (CNICA), having its registered office at Unit No.208, Raheja Towers, No:113-134, Anna Salai, Chennai 600002 as per CNICA Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) Rules and conducted under online platform www.cnica-odr.com. The arbitration must follow the ODR process and CNICA-ODR Rules shall prevail. All matters in the arbitration shall be governed by the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. 

The place of arbitration shall be Chennai and the language to be used in the arbitration proceedings shall be English. The award of the arbitration proceedings will be final and binding on both Parties to the Agreement.

In the event of the Arbitration failing and/or aggrieved by such Arbitral Award, then either party shall be free to take legal action against the other party in the manner as provided under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act 1996, in which case the parties hereby irrevocably submit to the exclusive Jurisdiction of the Courts in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu.

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by, subject to and construed in accordance with the laws of India.

18. LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY:

In no event will We or Our subsidiaries, affiliates, and all of Our respective officers, volunteers, agents, partners, teachers, trustees, founder and employees be liable to You or any third party for any direct, indirect, consequential, exemplary, incidental, special, or punitive damages, including lost profit, lost revenue, loss of data, or other damages arising from Your use of the site, even if We have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained herein, Our liability to You for any cause whatsoever and regardless of the form of the action, will at all times be limited to the cost of the Program.

19. INDEMNIFICATION:

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold Us harmless, including Our subsidiaries, affiliates, and all of Our respective officers, volunteers, agents, partners, teachers, trustees, founder and employees, from and against any loss, damage, liability, claim, or demand, including reasonable attorneys’ fees and expenses, made by any third party due to or arising out of Your participation in the Program and/or breach of these Terms & Conditions.

Notwithstanding the foregoing, We reserve the right, at Your expense, to assume the exclusive defense and control of any matter for which You are required to indemnify Us, and You agree to cooperate, at Your expense, with such claims. We will use reasonable efforts to notify You of any such claim, action, or proceeding which is subject to this indemnification upon becoming aware of it.

20. MISCELLANEOUS:

Any modifications to the Terms & Conditions will be posted on this site. The modified Terms & Conditions shall also be binding upon You.

You agree that Your failure to adhere to any of the Terms & Conditions set out above, or any other provision of these Terms & Conditions, shall constitute a breach of these Terms & Conditions on Your part which may result in the termination of Your access to this website and/or participation in the Program.

If any provision or part of a provision of these Terms & Conditions is determined to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable, that provision or part of the provision is deemed severable from these Terms & Conditions and does not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining provisions. There is no joint venture, partnership, employment or agency relationship created between You and Us as a result of these Terms & Conditions or use of the Site.

You agree that these Terms & Conditions will not be construed against Us by virtue of having drafted them.

  • The information stated herein above is not true and if found false, I understand that I will not be allowed to continue my participation with this Program.

  • I have read, understood and agreed to the Privacy Policy
