Terms and Conditions for Ulavara Thirupani

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms & Conditions/Terms”) are legally binding between you ("You") and Shri Yogini Trust ("We" or "Us"or SYT) for your registration to participate as a volunteer for Ulavara Thirupani (temple cleaning) activities conducted at the temples in India.
You agree that by registering for this Program and accessing this website www.isha.sadhguru.org ("Site"), You have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If You do not agree with all of these Terms, then You are expressly prohibited from using the Site and You must discontinue its use immediately.
You hereby represent and warrant that You are competent to enter into these Terms. You confirm that You have read, understood and agreed to these Terms. We reserve the right to revise the Terms & Conditions at any time and at Our sole discretion.
By submitting an Online Registration Form and email communication by Us, you confirm that You acknowledge and accept the following terms and conditions.
You confirm that You have read all of the information and you understand and accept the nature of the volunteering on Your own free will.
If the person who wants to volunteer is below the age of 18 years, then You are the parent / legal guardian.
For those who are below 18 years of age, who wish to volunteer, a parent/legal guardian must accompany them for volunteering activities.
For those who are below 18 years of age, the parent / legal guardian should fill & sign the consent form before completing the registration.
While volunteering We might take photos, videos and written feedback / experience for Our use.
Please ensure that You take care of all Your belongings like money, baggage and personal things during Your volunteering.
We will not be responsible for any kind of loss/theft of your money, baggage and personal things during Your volunteering period.
In case you develop any medical symptoms during Your volunteering, We request You to promptly inform Your activity coordinator and follow the protocol, treatment and guidelines as prescribed by Us.
You will have to bear Your medical expenses that may be required for your treatment during Your volunteering.
Please ensure You plan your travel only upon confirmation of your participation as a volunteer from Us.
Your activity may involve knowing certain information about Us, such information as acquired shall be treated as "confidential information" and You agree not to share such information with anyone unless required by law with Our prior permission.
It is important while You volunteer for the activities You will respect the policies and the rules that will be informed to You during your stay and volunteering.
You agree to behave in such a way as to create a safe, supportive, learning environment while volunteering. You shall comply with the following:
Dress Code - Both men and women should wear clothing that covers shoulders, upper arms, midriff, and legs down to their ankles. Tight or transparent clothing should not be worn.
Behaviour - You are expected to uphold the sanctity, serenity, and safety of the palace where the volunteering activity is taking place through respectful and lawful conduct at all times. You are required to comply with all applicable laws and adhere to a strict code of ethical and personal behavior. Any act of assault, harassment (including verbal, physical, emotional, or sexual), child abuse, sexual misconduct, stalking, exploitation, or any other form of unlawful, unsafe, or disruptive behavior is strictly prohibited. Discriminatory or offensive speech or conduct—whether explicit or implied—based on race, caste, gender, sexual orientation, religion, nationality, age, or disability will not be tolerated under any circumstances.
Consumption - You agree not to smoke, drink alcohol or consume any hallucinogenic or banned drug while volunteering.
Consequences - Volunteers engaging or threatening to engage in such behavior will be asked to leave immediately. If You witness such behavior mentioned above, please promptly contact the volunteering coordinators in order to take appropriate action. We reserve the right to initiate legal action or follow the due process of law if You violate the code of conduct or any laws.
You agree to conduct all volunteering activities with high standards and good taste, and will do nothing to cause detriment to Our reputation or goodwill.
You agree to provide all the details and documentation as may be required for the purpose of your registration as a volunteer.
In the event of a "Force Majeure Event," which includes, but is not limited to, governmental restrictions, riots, terrorist attacks, epidemics, pandemics, natural disasters such as earthquakes, tempests, floods, lightning, or acts of God, We reserve the right to cancel your volunteering. In case you are at Isha Yoga Center during any Force Majeure Event and you are not able to travel due to restriction you agree to follow the guidelines as provided by Us from time to time.
You will be informed if your volunteering is canceled, and You must adjust your travel plans in light of that information.
We will not be responsible for any loss and/or damage, of whatever nature, You may incur as a result of the cancellation of activities for which we have confirmed your volunteering.
These Terms shall be governed as per the laws of India and the courts of Coimbatore shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any matter arising out of them.

You give your consent to Us for the collection and use of Your personal information that You have provided to Us while registering in connection with volunteering. We may use Your information to send details of any further volunteering opportunities that may come in future for different programs or activities. Please read Our Privacy Policy carefully as it will help You make informed decisions about sharing Your personal information.
You declare that the above-mentioned information is true to the best of Your knowledge. You also agree that in case of incomplete or false information given by You, Your volunteering would be terminated with immediate effect and You would be asked to leave the Isha Yoga Centre, Coimbatore. You shall not hold Then Kailaya Bakthi Peravai responsible for any loss or damage caused due to such false information.
