Overview

Prana Danam is a structured 10-day volunteering opportunity to experience the offering of food at Isha. It entails an intense and fulfilling journey of understanding how food is prepared and served, and in the process, cultivates a sense of devotion toward all that nurtures our lives. It is also an opportunity to serve spiritual seekers, an age-old tradition in Yogic culture.

Details

Prana Danam is an immersive experience that deepens your connection with life-giving food. It includes:

  • Preparing meals in Akshaya (kitchen)

  • Setting up Bhiksha Hall (dining space) and serving food

  • A structured schedule that includes sadhana (practices) and spending time in consecrated spaces

  • Sadhguru's insightful videos

  • Activities at the farm and the Gaushala

Through Prana Danam, you become part of offering food to thousands of volunteers and guests at Isha.

Eligibility

Those aged 18 years and above who have completed the Inner Engineering program, including the transmission of Shambhavi Mahamudra Kriya, are eligible to apply.

Duration

It is comprised of one day silence, followed by nine days of volunteering.
