Getting up every morning before the sun to do my practices. Volunteering every day well after the sun has set. Giving everything I've got. It is more beautiful than I could have imagined.
I know this space has settled something deep in me forever. Bliss is so palpable in the air of the ashram. I feel this space constantly moves you in a state of joyfulness. I am supercharged for the endeavors of journey ahead.
I had the great fortune of being in the ashram during Guru Purnima. Not even the wildest rock concert sees the types of crowds Sadhguru can draw (Adiyogi Alayam overflowing with 14,000 people from all over the world!) or the exuberance one can see on the faces of little old ladies dancing with abandon to Sounds of Isha. Words fail to describe the beauty and love of a Guru who offers himself and his Grace freely and without ostentation.
The primary objective of moving to the ashram, for me, was to live in this space and make whatever Sadhguru has to offer available to more people. Being here and volunteering has significantly reduced my sense of self-preservation – removing hesitation & fear and allowing me to throw myself into whatever needs to be done.
Finding Isha Yoga Center has completely changed my life. Spending time in a consecrated space with a community of people dedicated to realizing their full potential has fast-tracked my spiritual journey and opened my eyes and heart to a vaster experience of life. The opportunities to grow and transcend my limitations have flowed, and I continue to be amazed by all the activities that happen here and the grace and professionalism with which they are conducted.
Being in the ashram and just making myself available for whatever needs to be done has given me the opportunity of becoming less of myself, so much so, that even saying something like this feels unnatural. It's a way of becoming less of me, throwing myself into an activity without likes, dislikes, abilities, inabilities – allowing myself to feel the guidance of grace at every step.
I am just amazed how energetic and lively I feel when I visit the space. It has a different energy that has to be experienced." - Gaurav Amarpuri "Most beautiful heavenly place. One should at least once visit here in lifetime. Full of grace. Offers yoga tools for human transformation. One of the most authentic yoga schools in world.
"The Isha Center is an amazing place to allow yourself to be open to the foundation of peace that is in a life of gratitude and no expectations. The volunteers have dedicated their lives to providing this experience for others. I am extremely grateful for the time and lessons I experience each visit."
