Somnath Temple Is Not What You Think – Sadhguru Explains

During a visit to the Somnath Temple on Makara Sankranti 2019, Sadhguru spoke to members of the Somnath Temple trust about the significance of this powerful aspect of Shiva.

Sadhguru narrates the story of Kalidasa, a devotee of Goddess Kali for many lifetimes, and his unexpected encounter with Kali that irreversibly transformed his life. Sadhguru also explores the significance of feminine worship and how Devi's grace can tremendously enhance one's activity and articulation.

Sadhguru on the surprising reason Shiva and Parvati had to leave their home in Badrinath and establish Kedarnath. He also speaks of Kedarnath as the place closest to the reverberation of the sound "Shiva," and of Kantisarovar as the lake near which Shiva first expounded the profound science of Yoga.

In a session with participants of the “Gen A Entrepreneurship Bootcamp” program at Sadhguru Sannidhi Bengaluru, Sadhguru explored audacity, competence, entrepreneurship, education, technology, and the mechanics of inner wellbeing.
