With any physical activity, the level of fitness and agility will increase naturally. So in that sense you can say that this dance might be of support, though it is not specifically aimed for this purpose.

It is not that these art forms are always slow; they too have fast-paced movements and compositions. Since this might be the first time many of you are getting introduced to Bharatanatyam, the program is starting with something slow.
Do I need privacy while doing it? Is it ok if someone else is in the room?
It is perfectly fine if there are other people in the room as long as you are comfortable with it.

There are no specific dietary restrictions and the food timing is according to every individual’s comfort.
Is there any restriction on practicing Bharatanatyam during pregnancy or menstrual cycles?
No. Once again, you can take the call. If you are having pain or discomfort, it is recommended you rest.
I have a severe back pain after doing this. Is it normal?
Since you have just begun dancing, it might be natural for you to have pain but if you have had an injury or the pain is acute, it is best you consult a doctor.
I have a poor memory, I can not remember these names. Will we get a written pamphlet?
You need not worry about remembering the names. As you keep repeating the names, you will remember them.
