Performers
Our troupe comprises alumni of Samskriti – a unique school in southern India where children are immersed in Indian classical arts starting at the age of 8. At a time when these art forms are being approached as just hobbies, these children take up the arts as a way of life. They grow up in an atmosphere of dedication, discipline and focus, where each aspect of their lifestyle is carefully chosen to orient them towards their inner nature. They study, practice and perform these arts from the ages of 8 to 18 in an atmosphere of dedication, discipline and focus, using the arts to realize their full potential – physically, mentally and spiritually.
With years of intense training behind them and having imbibed these ancient arts as a part of themselves, they emerge as young adults exuding the graceful power of Kalaripayattu and embodying the perfect balance of Bharatanatyam, making their every movement and expression a delight to behold.
