Naga Panchami Satsang with Sadhguru

Even rain could not dampen the spirits of the charged-up participants gathered at the Isha Institute of Inner-sciences for a special Naga Panchami satsang, which was also streamed online, where thousands more joined in from all over the world. Sadhguru spoke at length about the sacred serpent and the irrational fear of snakes that needs to be eliminated. He explained the significance of Naga in our life and invited all to become part of the upcoming Naga consecration at the Isha Yoga Center, Bengaluru, on 9 October 2022.

Former Executive Director of the United Nations Environment Programme Erik Solheim joined Sadhguru for an online conversation about soil. Sadhguru shared an interesting perspective about the need to stop looking at soil as a bunch of chemicals and start recognizing it as the largest living ecosystem – one that is indispensable for human wellbeing. Erik Solheim asked pertinent questions about how the momentum generated by the widely successful Save Soil movement can be kept up. Sadhguru emphasized that it needs to become an economically lucrative endeavor for the farmers to be successful in the long run.

Independence Day Celebrations with Sadhguru and Prominent Guests at Isha Yoga Center

15 Aug

On the 75th anniversary of India’s Independence, the Rt Hon Patricia Scotland QC, Secretary-General of the Commonwealth of Nations, Baroness of Asthal, and India’s Chief Coordinator for the G20 Summit, Shri Harsh Vardhan Shringla, IFS, joined Sadhguru on stage to unfurl the tricolor in the presence of Adiyogi. This was followed by scintillating cultural dance performances by Project Samskriti and students of Isha Home School.

The Rt Hon Patricia Scotland QC spoke about India’s importance to the Commonwealth of Nations, and how the Save Soil movement is perfectly in line with the Commonwealth’s ecological vision.

Shri Harsh Vardhan Shringla spoke passionately about what India has achieved in the last 75 years and how its achievements of the next 25 years will make India a great force in the world. He also mentioned that India will be assuming the presidency of the most influential country grouping in the world – the G20 – and revealed that out of the 190 meetings of the G20 in India, an important one will be held at the Isha Yoga Center in Coimbatore.

In the end, Sadhguru addressed the gathering where he spoke about India’s trajectory of becoming not only a prosperous nation, but one that draws power from its wisdom and cultural strength and becomes a beacon of wellbeing to the world.
