In February 2025, a YouTube video alleged exploitation of minors at Isha Yoga Center, claiming to have “emails” suggesting misconduct.

After Isha filed a defamation case, the Delhi High Court found the video was “clickbait” and based on “unverified material”. The court ordered its removal from social media and banned further sharing.

In March 2025, an online complaint based on the same video was filed with the Tamil Nadu Police. A police team, along with a Social Welfare Officer and Child Welfare Committee (CWC) member, inspected the Isha Yoga Center.

The police report stated:

“No unwanted incidents as alleged occurred, nor was there any ill-treatment of women inside the Isha Yoga Center… the contentions of the complaint are found to be not true and there is no evidence to show that any offence was committed… There is no prima facie case to register an F.I.R.… The petition is hereby closed and no further action will be taken.”

A second police enquiry into another complaint of alleged abuse reached the same conclusion:

“No prima facie case to proceed further.”

The official findings categorically dismissed the allegations, validated the foundation’s public standing, and exposed a pattern of slander without substance.
