Exploring Medicine, Mind, and Meaning: Sadhguru at AIIMS New Delhi

30 July 2025, New Delhi  — In a lively and thought-provoking session at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, Sadhguru engaged with students in a wide-ranging conversation that touched on some of the most pressing and personal topics for young medical professionals today.

Students posed questions on the fundamental nature of the mind, the value of human attention, mobile addiction, and how the spiritual process can support one in becoming a better doctor. The conversation also explored the role of compassion in the practice of medicine.

The dialogue took an intriguing turn as Sadhguru recounted his own experience as a medical emergency volunteer in his youth. He also shared his thoughts on alternative and complementary systems such as homeopathy and acupuncture, and touched on the topic of horoscopes.

Bringing together the science of Yoga, personal experience, and practical relevance, the session left attendees with plenty to reflect on long after it ended.

An Unexpected Pairing: Sadhguru Brings Ancient Wisdom to Tomorrowland’s Electronic Beats

24 July 2025, Brussels – At the world’s most famous electronic music festival, Belgium’s Tomorrowland, an unlikely but profound encounter took place. Brazilian DJ Alok Achkar Peres Petrillo met with Sadhguru, creating a unique fusion of ancient wisdom and modern celebration.

During their conversation, Sadhguru challenged the Tomorrowland audience with a fundamental question: “Just show me one damn thing here which is not a miracle,” which was met with acknowledging laughter, applause, and cheers. He illustrated his point with characteristic humor: “Your parents, they’re very stingy people... They gave you one cell each; they could have given a million. From that one cell, look at you, how you’ve become – is it not a miracle?”

Sadhguru went on to emphasize that “You’re a miracle, I’m a miracle, everyone is a miracle, but unfortunately they don’t experience themselves like that.” He attributed this lack of recognition to mental conditioning, explaining that “They don’t possess the ideas – ideas possess them.”

Redefining miracles, Sadhguru asked: “What is a miracle? If something happens here that you can’t logically comprehend, that’s a miracle, isn’t it?” He reminded the festival-goers of their cosmic situation: “Right now we are sitting here on a round planet, the damn thing is spinning at around a thousand miles per hour... Is this not a miracle?”

Following their meeting, Alok took to social media to share a reflection with his millions of followers. “‘Gu’ means darkness, and ‘Ru’ means dispeller. So a Guru is one who dispels your darkness,” he wrote, adding simply: “It was great meeting you!”

Sadhguru’s London Satsang: Making Life a Glorious Outpouring

6 July 2025, London – The anticipation had been building for years. When the Satsang with Sadhguru in London was finally announced, meditators from across the UK and Europe seized the long-awaited opportunity for an unforgettable evening of wisdom, meditation, and joy.

Sadhguru challenged attendees to transcend their self-imposed limitations and embrace discomfort, saying: “If you want to cross the lines that nature has put, then lots of things have to be prepared. But the important thing is this: that the limitations that you have put upon yourself, you must remove them.

“Everything that you have perceived till this moment, everything that you understand, which is a consequence of your perceptions, and everything that you think is real, is within a specific dimension of life.

“If you break it, everything may be a little upside down or different in a way that you did not imagine. It may not fit into your logical box. Is that okay? If you remove all the lines that you have drawn, I will help you remove the lines that nature has drawn. Then, life becomes glorious – not a small happening. A glorious outpouring of things.”

The evening’s impact was immediate and profound. One participant shared, “Blessed to see him in person.” Another reflected, “Being there in person was just magical.” A third described his perception of Sadhguru as, “You’re truly light.”
