A Quick Recap of the Last Few Weeks
After a long wait, US meditators got to experience the magic and intensity of Samyama with Sadhguru at the Isha Institute of Inner-sciences. Samyama is an intensive residential program conducted by Sadhguru. As Sadhguru described it in a tweet, “Samyama is a fantastic process that gradually leads one to be able to be meditative even with eyes open.”
During the darshan on Buddha Purnima at the Isha Institute of Inner-sciences, Sadhguru spoke about Gautama’s Enlightenment Day and how the Buddha’s teachings continue to transform lives today. Sadhguru emphasized the importance of rising above one’s physiological and psychological processes to experience true freedom. He also shared a story of King Krishnadevaraya and his advisor Tenali Ramakrishna, illustrating the power of having a one-pointed mind.
Urging everyone to take the resolve to create a Conscious Planet, Sadhguru asserted that the quality of consciousness in human beings will determine the state of the world. Sadhguru underscored the significance of consciousness and awareness in all aspects of life, highlighting the need for individuals to act consciously, which in turn contributes to a thriving humanity.
In March 2023, over 300 Sadhanapada alumni joined the Sadhana Intensive program, exclusively available to those who have completed Sadhanapada. Over a period of two months, they dedicated themselves to seva and received support for their yogic practices through review sessions, guided practices, silence periods, and much more. Participants also had the opportunity to learn Indian classical music and Kalaripayattu (an ancient form of martial arts) with Isha Samskriti.
In Yogasanas review sessions, trained Isha Hatha Yoga teachers provided participants with detailed one-on-one feedback on their practices. The monthly meetings served as a platform for everyone to come together, share their experiences, play games, watch exclusive videos of Sadhguru, and deepen their sadhana.
More than 40 volunteers and 30 Isha brahmacharis recently demonstrated their commitment and passion by participating in the TCS World 10K Bengaluru run in support of Isha Vidhya. It was inspiring to see them participate with full enthusiasm and energy in person for the cause.
The annually held TCS World 10K Bengaluru, sponsored by Tata Consultancy Services, is a popular 10-kilometer road race in the bustling city of Bengaluru. Isha Vidhya, an education initiative founded in 2006, currently provides high-quality education to over 8,500 underprivileged rural children in India.
