INGREDIENTS
2 cups fresh mango
1 small ripe banana
1 cup yogurt/curd or coconut yogurt
1 cup coconut milk
Natural vanilla extract to taste (optional)
¼ teaspoon turmeric (optional)
½-cm piece of fresh ginger (optional)
METHOD
- Peel the banana and cut it into pieces.
- In a blender jar, combine the chopped banana, curd/yogurt, mango chunks, coconut milk, and optional vanilla extract to taste. For an extra healthy touch, you may include the optional turmeric and/or freshly grated ginger.
- Blend the mixture until a thick and creamy consistency is achieved, adjusting the amount of coconut milk as needed.
- Pour the smoothie into glasses and serve immediately.
