It is an opportunity for children to begin or restart their education in the presence of Linga Bhairavi. The ritual is also an appeal to Devi that the child uses the power of knowledge constructively.
A special annual Vidyarambham is also conducted on the auspicious occasion of Vijayadashami, or Dussehra.
This ritual is open to children between the ages of 2 and 12 years.

Depending on the child’s age, either application of energized Teerthakund water on the child or them taking a dip in the Teerthakund.
Adorning the child with a blessed garland and tilak.
An aura cleansing process to remove negativities.
Vibrant chants to invoke Devi’s grace.
An offering of samarpanam and arati for the wellbeing of the child and family.
Tying of a consecrated Devi Abhaya Sutra to the child’s wrist for their growth and stability.

Since this is a one-step registration process, if you were unable to complete the payment in the first attempt, you will need to fill up the registration form again. We recommended that you register and make the payment from a desktop or a laptop.

You can bring offerings such as flowers, fruits, incense or other items. Please ensure that the offerings are not made of plastic and that the edible offerings have no eggs and are vegetarian.
These offerings can be made either before or after the ritual.
