TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Volunteer Participants

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms & Conditions/Terms”) are legally binding between you ("You") and Then Kailaya Bakthi Peravai ("We" or "Us") for your registration to participate as a volunteer for Mahashivaratri 2026 at either Isha Yoga Centre at Coimbatore, Sadhguru Sannidhi at Chikkaballapur, or at a venue mentioned on the registration page (collectively referred to as the “Venue”). 

By submitting an Online Registration Form and email communication by Us, you confirm that you acknowledge and accept the following terms and conditions.

You hereby represent and warrant that You are competent to enter into these Terms. You confirm that You have read all of the information available on our website about the volunteering activities and You understand and accept the nature of the volunteering for the Event on your own free will.

We reserve the right to revise the Terms & Conditions at any time and at Our sole discretion.

By submitting an Online Registration Form and email communication by Us, You confirm that You acknowledge and accept the following terms and conditions.

  1. You are above 18 years of age.

  2. For those who are below 18 years of age, who wish to volunteer, a parent/legal guardian must accompany them for program volunteering. If both the volunteer and parent / legal guardian are staying in the dormitory, then they should be of the same gender. If both are staying in a cottage, it can be either parent.

  3. For those who are below 18 years of age, the parent / legal guardian should fill & sign the consent form before completing the registration.

  4. You confirm that you have read all of the information about the volunteering activity at the Venue and you understand and accept the nature of the volunteering on your own free will. It is important while You volunteer, You will respect the policies and the rules that will be informed to you during your stay and volunteering.

  5. While volunteering we might take photos, videos and written feedback/ experience for our use.  

  6. Please ensure that You take care of all your belongings like money, baggage and personal things during your volunteering.

  7. We will not be responsible for any kind of loss/theft of your money, baggage and personal things during your volunteering period. 

  8. In case you develop any medical symptoms during your volunteering, we request you to promptly inform your activity coordinator and follow the protocol, treatment and guidelines as prescribed by us.  

  9. You will have to bear your medical expenses that you may incur during your stay for the volunteering. You hereby grant permission to the organisers and its representatives to seek medical treatment for You in case of an emergency. You hereby authorize the medical team at the Venue to act on Your behalf and make any necessary decisions related to medical treatment, including consenting to surgical procedures, administering medications, and accessing medical records.

  10. Please ensure you plan your travel only upon confirmation of your participation as a volunteer from us.  

  11. Your activity may involve knowing certain information about us, such information as acquired shall be treated as "confidential information" and you agree not to share such information with anyone unless required by law with our prior permission. 

  12. You agree to behave in such a way as to create a safe, supportive, learning environment while at the Venue. You shall comply with the following:

  13. Dress Code - Both men and women should wear clothing that covers shoulders, upper arms, midriff, and legs down to their ankles. Tight or transparent clothing should not be worn.

  14. Behaviour - You shall uphold the sanctity, serenity, and safety of the Venue through respectful and lawful conduct at all times. You shall comply with all applicable laws and adhere to a strict code of ethical and personal behavior. Any act of assault, harassment (including verbal, physical, emotional, or sexual), child abuse, sexual misconduct, stalking, exploitation, or any other form of unlawful, unsafe, or disruptive behavior is strictly prohibited. Discriminatory or offensive speech or conduct—whether explicit or implied—based on race, caste, gender, sexual orientation, religion, nationality, age, or disability will not be tolerated under any circumstances. We reserve the right to take appropriate legal action against You if You are found to have violated any of the above.

  15. Consumption - You shall not smoke, drink alcohol or consume any hallucinogenic or banned drug at the Venue premises.

  16. Consequences - Volunteers engaging or threatening to engage in such behavior will be asked to leave the Venue immediately. If You witness such behavior mentioned above, please promptly contact the Program organizers in order to take appropriate action. We reserve the right to initiate legal action or follow the due process of law if You violate the code of conduct or any laws.

  17. You agree to conduct all volunteering activities with high standards and good taste, and will do nothing to cause detriment to our reputation or goodwill. You further agree to act according to all oral instructions we may give you in relation to the volunteering activity from time to time.

  18. You agree to provide all the details and documentation as may be required for the purpose of your registration as a volunteer. 

  19. In the event of a "Force Majeure Event," which includes, but is not limited to, governmental restrictions, riots, terrorist attacks, epidemics, quarantine, pandemics, natural disasters such as earthquakes, tempests, floods, lightning, or acts of God, we reserve the right to cancel the Program. 

  20. You will be informed if Your volunteering is canceled, and you must adjust your travel plans in light of that information.

  21. We will not be responsible for any loss and/or damage, of whatever nature, you may incur as a result of the cancellation of Your volunteering.

  22. You give your consent to us for the collection and use of your personal information that you have provided to us while registering in connection with volunteering.  We may use your information to send details of any further volunteering opportunities that may come in future.  Please read Our Privacy Policy carefully as it will help You make informed decisions about sharing Your personal information.

  23. You acknowledge and understand that You are responsible for your conduct at the Venue and  You hereby release, discharge, and hold harmless the organisers, its officers, employees, volunteers, and agents from any and all claims, demands, causes of action, liabilities, and expenses arising out of or related to Your participation in volunteering activities and stay at the Venue. 


You declare that the above-mentioned information is true to the best of your knowledge. You also agree that in case of incomplete or false information given by you, Your volunteering would be terminated with immediate effect and You would be asked to leave the Venue.
