The sacred nights of Navratri unfolded at Linga Bhairavi in Coimbatore from 22–30 September 2025. Each night deepened the connection between devotee and Devi, with every ritual becoming a doorway to Devi’s grace.
Devotees immersed themselves in Devi’s powerful grace as the Kumkum Abhishekam adorned Linga Bhairavi in deep red.
Students from Isha Home School offered their own handmade kumkum to Linga Bhairavi.
In the Vastram Arpanam, devotees had the opportunity to offer sarees to Devi, with each color representing a different quality and aspect of life.
As night fell, the grand procession of the Linga Bhairavi Utsavmurti wound its way to Dhyanalinga, where the Maha Arati unfolded as an expression of Devi making contact with Dhyanalinga, as Sadhguru explained.
The space around Suryakund buzzed with vibrant stalls of handcrafted art, handlooms, and food.
Every corner glowed with the gentle light of lamps, flowing malas, and beautifully arranged urulis.
Adding to the celebrations, Durga Pooja was also offered at the Isha Yoga Center throughout the nine days, concluding with the traditional immersion of the idol.
The nine nights of Navratri were enriched with diverse cultural offerings at Suryakund.
Each evening brought a different flavor of India’s rich artistic traditions – from Project Samskriti’s classical dance offerings to folk performances representing various states.
Some of the highlights included renowned violinist Ambi Subramaniam’s Carnatic performance, devotional music by Prajakta Shukre, the vibrant folk music of Pushpavanam Kuppusamy, and Project Samskriti’s Margam, a mesmerizing dance offering.
The evening performances added another dimension to the festivities, creating a complete celebration of India’s cultural and devotional heritage.
The middle three days honored the quality of Rajas and goddess Lakshmi. Devi became resplendent in bright yellow turmeric – the color of the sun and symbol of dynamism.
Devotees offered grains during Dhanya Samarpanam, seeking prosperity and grace.
Chandanam transformed the final days into pure serenity. Devi, adorned in sandalwood paste, blessed all who offered themselves in devotion.
Throughout it all, thousands joined the 9-day Navratri Sadhana online – chanting the Linga Bhairavi Stuti, lighting Devi lamps, applying Kumkum – allowing Bhairavi’s presence to blossom in homes and hearts worldwide.
