In a remarkable achievement, Isha Outreach’s Thencherimalai Farmer Producer Company has been honored with the prestigious Best Performing FPO Award for the financial year 2023-24. The National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD), Tamil Nadu, recognized the company’s outstanding contributions to agricultural development and rural empowerment.
Thencherimalai Farmers Producer Company, one of 25 FPOs guided by Isha Outreach as part of the Save Soil movement, was established in Coimbatore’s Sultan Pettai area. In its first year, the FPO attracted over 750 farmer members. It achieved Rs. 1.58 crore in sales, primarily from coconut cultivation and marketing. Notably, 9,377 farmers benefit from Isha Outreach’s FPO initiatives overall.
This accolade highlights Thencherimalai FPO’s innovative approach to sustainable farming practices and its significant impact on improving the livelihoods of local farmers.
Excitement and energy soared at the Isha Yoga Center as over 1,100 participants from across the world joined the Sadhanapada 2024 program.

Recently, the 2024 cohort of Sadhguru Gurukulam’s Hatha Yoga Teacher Training began their transformative 5-month journey at the Isha Yoga Center. The participants from around the world are undergoing over 1650 hours of intensive training in classical Hatha Yoga.
The program, hosted at the specially consecrated Adiyogi Alayam, is designed to revive the profound science of classical Hatha Yoga in its full depth and dimension.
This comprehensive training aims to prepare these dedicated individuals to share the practices of Yoga in their purest form worldwide.
