An offering of a decorative flower or lemon garland to adorn Devi can be made to receive her overflowing Grace.

Significance

  • To honor a special occasion or out of one’s devotion and gratitude, one can contribute towards the mala (flower or lemon garland), which adorns Devi on any day of your choice.

  • Devotees also have the privilege of offering garlands that decorate Devi's abode during Purnimas and other festivals.

Ritual Details

  • You can offer a lemon mala on Tuesdays or Fridays.

  • Flower mala offering is available on the remaining days of the week.

  • The offering will be made on your behalf along with a samarpanam.

  • Devotees may give the names and nakshatras of up to four family members, which will be written on a palm leaf and placed at Devi’s feet during the samarpanam offering.

  • One can also perform this ritual on behalf of another person.
