A posture to enhance your receptivity to Devi’s Grace and compassion.
"Once you empty yourself, Devi has no choice but to be with you. And if Devi is with you, I also have no choice." —Sadhguru
Devi Dandam is a form of prostration to make oneself receptive to Devi’s Grace. The posture is such that it closes the right side, so that the left side is much more open. One can best receive the energy which is referred to as Bhairavi through one’s left side.
You can do 1, 3, 6, 9 or 11 cycles of the Devi Dandam each day.
You can offer the Devi Dandam in front of Devi's photo, Devi Mukha, Devi Gudi, or a Linga Bhairavi Yantra if you wish.
You can also choose to incorporate the Linga Bhairavi Stuti into the sadhana. As you come up from the dandam into the sitting posture, you can sit and chant one cycle of the stuti before standing up.
"Once you empty yourself, Devi has no choice but to be with you. And if Devi is with you, I also have no choice."
