Inner Engineering Retreat is a transformative, residential 4-day program open to anyone above 15 years of age.
No prior experience or knowledge of Yoga is required. The program is designed to be accessible to everyone, regardless of their familiarity with Yogic practices. There is also no specific level of physical flexibility or fitness required.
Yes. Inner Engineering is relevant for anyone willing to explore life more deeply, regardless of background or beliefs. It offers practical tools to cultivate a sense of joy and wellbeing, enabling you to take charge of your inner experience.
As part of the program, you will learn rejuvenating and balancing Yoga practices and practical tools for effortless living. You will also learn the powerful 21-minute Shambhavi Mahamudra Kriya that aligns your entire system so that your body, mind, emotions, and energies function in harmony.

The medium of instruction depends on the specific program you register for. Inner Engineering Retreats are offered in English, Hindi, and Tamil. Please check the language of your chosen program in advance, as live translations will not be available.
Please ensure you carry the following:
Walking shoes
Umbrella or rain gear (during monsoon months)
Casual, loose-fitting cotton clothes suitable for Yoga

Water bottle (steel, glass, earthen clay)
Phone usage guidelines will be shared during the orientation. For maximum benefit, participants are encouraged to keep phone usage to a minimum. However, a designated time will be provided where participants can use their phones.
Yes. Participants are requested to wear comfortable, loose-fitting cotton clothes suitable for Yoga. Any additional guidelines will be shared at the center.
Arrivals are permitted strictly between 8:00 AM and 12:00 noon on the first day of the program. Departures should be planned only after 8:00 PM on the last day. You may stay overnight and check out by 8:00 AM the following morning.

The Isha Yoga Center is approximately a 90-minute drive from Coimbatore city. Please plan your travel accordingly for both arrival and departure.
Taxis are available at both Coimbatore airport and the railway station. You may also book a taxi through the Isha Travel Desk at vahanam.co/cab.
Overseas / Non-Indian participants: Original passport and a valid Indian visa or OCI card

Program accommodation is exclusively for registered participants. If your relative or friend wishes to stay at the Yoga Center, you can book separate accommodation for them at cottage.isha.in.
No, childcare facilities are not available, and accommodation is restricted to registered participants only. Children are not permitted to accompany participating adults.
No, laundry facilities are not available. Participants are advised to bring sufficient clothing for the duration of their stay.
Yes. Due to the plastic ban in Tamil Nadu, bottled water is not provided. Drinking water dispensers are available in common areas. Participants are requested to carry a non-plastic water container, such as a metal or glass bottle.
Wholesome vegetarian meals will be served in alignment with the program’s guidelines.
No, participants are expected to follow the diet prescribed as part of the program.
Individual dietary requirements cannot be accommodated. Kindly check with volunteers at mealtimes about what is being served and avoid any items that may not suit you. Please inform the program support team at ieretreat@sadhguru.org in advance so appropriate guidance can be provided.
Basic first aid and medical assistance are available at the Isha Yoga Center. Any pre-existing or serious medical conditions must be communicated to the program team in advance. Participants are advised to carry all essential medications. If your condition is unstable, it may be best not to participate in the program.
