Designed by Sadhguru, Yoga Sandhya is an opportunity for you and your family to imbibe the grace of Adiyogi through an intimate, in-person spiritual event for your spiritual growth and wellbeing.
It is designed to help overcome any energetic impediments within the family or clan (kula dosha), which could hinder your spiritual growth and material wellbeing.
Grace does not descend – grace is always. You just have to make yourself receptive.
Kula Dosha
Kula dosha refers to an energetic impediment that afflicts those belonging to a particular genetic pool, be it a family, a clan, or a community.
In Yoga, it is understood that karmic memory imprinted on one’s energy system is transmitted to future generations. As a result, an entire clan could inherit doshas and carry it on for generations.
Yoga Sandhya is a powerful program offered by Sadhguru that is supportive in alleviating kula doshas by making use of this genetic connection. By going through this program as a family, one can derive immense health and spiritual benefits which are also passed on to future generations.

This 40-minute program is offered once a day.
A maximum of 21 people from the same family can attend it each day. Relatives from both the husband’s and wife’s sides can participate.

Vibhuti – Vibhuti, or sacred ash, is closely associated with Shiva, the Adiyogi, who is often depicted ash-smeared from head to toe, symbolizing the mortal nature of life. The basis of spiritual process is a realization of one’s mortality; vibhuti is a constant reminder of this. In Indian culture, it is also used as a powerful tool for a seeker, as it enhances one’s receptivity if properly prepared and applied on the body, and it also serves as a great medium to transmit energy.
Kumkum - Applying kumkum on one’s forehead (Agna chakra) brings auspiciousness and wellbeing. Made of turmeric, it is used as a medium to transmit energies and for enhancing one’s receptivity.
Turmeric - Turmeric creates a certain vibrancy around you, purifies the aura, and enhances your immunity. Energy can also be transmitted through it effortlessly. If consumed, it removes minor infections from the digestive system.
Red Soil – Being in contact with soil brings balance to the body, harmonizes the physiological process in your system, improves your immunity and enhances your psychological wellbeing.
Chandanam – Cooling in nature, chandanam also enhances one’s receptivity.
Sesame - In the Yogic culture, sesame is known to have a great sense of memory. It can imbibe and retain whatever it comes in touch with, making it a fantastic medium to transmit energy.
Vilva - Vilva leaves are traditionally considered very dear to Shiva, the Adiyogi. They are said to have the greatest capability to absorb and retain the reverberations of an energized form.
It happens once a day during the evening sandhya (5:40 PM). One can participate in it any number of times.
One needs to be 9 years or older to participate.
A consecrated sutra smeared with turmeric has a spiritual significance in the Yogic tradition. The sutra is used to retain and transmit the energies of the consecrated linga.
A maximum of 21 people can participate at a time. All participants must be from the same family. Relatives from both the husband and wife’s sides can participate.
Up to 3 participants can attend the program for INR 30,000. A fee of INR 10,000 will be applicable for each additional participant, with a maximum limit of 21 participants and a total fee cap of INR 2.1 lakhs.

The Isha Yoga Center is situated 30 kilometers (20 miles) west of Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. Coimbatore, a major industrial city in southern India, is well connected by air, rail and road. Major airlines operate regular flights to Coimbatore from Chennai, Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore. Train services are available from all major cities in India.
There are direct buses between Coimbatore and the Isha Yoga Center (view the timetable).
Taxis can be booked from the airport as well as the railway station. Alternatively, you can contact the Yoga Center’s travel desk to book a taxi to the center. The desk is open 24 hours a day.

Sadhguru Sannidhi, Bengaluru is 45 km from the Kempegowda International Airport (60-minute drive) and 63 km from the Cantonment Railway Station (80-minute drive).
Regular bus and taxi services are available from Bengaluru city to Chikkaballapur town, which is the closest town to the Sannidhi.
