The American singer-songwriter and actor Demi Lovato hosted Sadhguru on their new podcast 4D with Demi Lovato. In a conversation that transcended dimensions, Sadhguru spoke about living joyfully, what makes a mystic, his love of motorcycles, and the various aspects of the human system. He also implored young people to stand up and create conscious, blissful human beings, and in turn a Conscious Planet.
Ghanaian musician, rap artist, and entrepreneur, Okyeame Kwame, spoke with Sadhguru. Okyeame asked questions about spirituality, cultural identity and history, and conscious rap. He also gave a short performance of one of his songs. Sadhguru spoke about learning from history rather than becoming wounded by it, and emphasized the importance of rising beyond identities and becoming inclusive in response to social challenges.
Sadhguru celebrated India’s 75th Independence Day by hoisting the flag in the presence of Adiyogi, along with ashramites, volunteers, Hatha Yoga teacher trainees, and others. The fun-filled Independence Day Dhamaka also included an interaction with Isha Samskriti students and a power-packed special frisbee game with Sadhguru. Sadhguru said on the occasion, “The most important aspect of what happens in this nation in the next 25 years before we reach a centenary of being an independent nation is to be strong, resilient, inspired, and very equanimous human beings.”
Mike Canning, Global Managing Director of Duke Corporate Education, interviewed Sadhguru for Dialogue Magazine, a journal for managers and leaders. The wide-ranging discussion explored topics such as the nurturing human of potential, the emerging importance of pragmatic business leadership, and keenness of attention. Speaking on the role of purpose in one’s life, Sadhguru said, “Setting up your purpose means you're essentially setting up your intention. You should not have any intentions of your own; life is the only intent. You should become part of it. You must ride this life, not creating your own idea of what should happen out of this.”

In this engaging conversation, the group spoke about technology connecting communities, the intellect and inclusivity, and the significance of subjective aspects of life. When asked about his driving force, Sadhguru wittily responded, “See, nothing drives me. I drive everything, so I’m okay.”
In a video to the British Ministry of Defense, Sadhguru talked about the significance of the presence of the defense forces; how they are willing to risk their lives to help maintain peace on the planet and preserve peace with their presence. He highlighted the importance of meditation in jobs with the potential for high-stress situations and expressed hope that the need for defense forces might come down in the future. Sadhguru said, “Soldiers are not some machines or robots; they are human beings. They need to be treated as human beings. The more humane they are, the better soldiers they will make.”

Sadhguru discussed how to harness the prana vayu to live a vibrant life and have the exuberance of a full moon as one’s baseline experience. He also announced the possibility of a Shakti Chalana restart program as an opportunity to reinvigorate the practice for those who have learned it.
