The play of existence is but the timeless alliance of creation, maintenance and destruction: Brahma, Vishnu and Mahesh. Their ceaseless mischief stages the dance of the cosmos.

Of the three, the greatest is the destroyer. He is ‘that which is not’ – he is Shiva. Encompassing the other two within his nothingness, he is ultimate oblivion, the very basis of creation and the void of destruction. It is in his lap that creation begins, perpetuates and dissolves.

Three forces. Three qualities. Three devas. A trio, seemingly separate on the surface, but go a little deeper, and you will find a seamless union. Bridge the gap between trinity and unity, and you will find Mahadeva. You will find three contained in one: Trigun.

Sounds of Isha is Sadhguru's own home grown, anomalous group of 'musicians'. Their songs are a fusion of music from different parts of the world - traversing effortlessly and seamlessly across boundaries and cultures. Whilst the music of these songs soothe our minds and their melodies enthrall us, their true potential is in their capability to instill in us an element of the eternal silence that touches the core of the human being.

Sounds of Isha has seven albums and a large fan following across India and abroad. The group members are full-time volunteers with Isha Foundation, inspired by their longing to share a different dimension of the foundation's work.

Simply superb! I feel energized listening to this prayer, hence I listen to this prayer everyday, sometimes the whole day. But I am a little disappointed - why only 8 stanzas are sung while there are 10 of them?

Thanks! really harmonious and powerful at the same time. I have no understanding of the language but Sounds of Isha never fails to move me....would indeed be wonderful if their lyrics (and possibly, even translations into english) are made available.

I got the CD.   The chants are excellant.  Absolutely mesmerising... Sounds of Isha rendered  three of the chants, live during Shivarathri Celebrations.
