Making of a Hatha Yogi - Part 11: Celebration of the Divine Feminine - Navaratri

Navratri and Dussehra are a grand celebration at the Isha Yoga Center with special poojas, classical music and dance concerts, and folk performances. Navratri is a celebration of the goddess and divine feminine and the hatha yoga teacher trainees were a part of the many festivities held during these nine days. They attended the daily classical music concerts and also danced to the tunes of garba, a dance of devotion towards the feminine aspect of the divine, traditionally accompanied by lively music. As Sadhguru says, "To approach these nine days, and every other aspect of life in a celebratory way is most important. If you approach everything in a celebratory way, you learn to be non-serious about life but absolutely involved."
