These last few weeks have been breathtaking (literally). Breathtaking level of activity. I wonder whether I am getting old or if the activity is getting heaped up. I see that since the age of 25, my weight has varied in the range of only 3 -5 kilograms and just about everything else is normal. A German quack doctor, after complex tests, said that my cellular age is still 25. At least physically, I stopped growing. But I think I need a few treks in the mountains or at least a golf outing to get my breath back.

Of all the things that have gone by, a few events of the past week stand out. It was a joy to be at the Isha Home School Sports Day. It is great to see how the children are shaping up. This cannot be complete without kudos for all those who are conducting the school process. In a short span of time, what has been achieved is commendable. Every time I walk into the school, I cannot help thinking why I did not study in a school like this. It is a fortune for a child to be there - only wish we could accommodate more.

The Salem Mega Program was a phenomenal success. For a little city like Salem to enroll 10,300 participants for a three-day event is a never-before happening. The extraordinary discipline and enthusiasm with which Salemites participated is exemplary and a true revolution in this city. The role that our little ones, the Isha Samskriti children, are playing in the making of these programs is becoming indispensible. These children are truly amazing.

Yesterday, we had Sri Gurinder Singh Ji of the Radha Soami Satsang Beas as our guest, a great leader and a wonderful human being. It is nice to be catching up with some dynamic and dignified spiritual clan.

Our Southeast Asia activity is also catching up. I never had the necessary time to pay attention to this part of the world, and it’s been wonderful being in Japan and Singapore, with possible mega programs in Malaysia and Singapore coming up. I really wanted to get back to Singapore for the F1 Races on 23-25 Sept, and also to surprise the Singapore meditators, but the engagements here did not allow it. So maybe instead of surprising them, I disappointed them a bit, but we will be catching up with Singapore soon.

Today, I am leaving for Australia en route to the USA. Out of India for awhile…
