Here I am
Not a lover
Nor a worthy disciple
But an overawed witness,
stranded forever
Into witnessing a spectacle
More spectacular than any sunrise or sunset
More glorious than all the glories
of Gods and men...
As the sole monarch
Of my heart
Rampages through
the hearts of millions
My heart soars like a lark
And tears try to bring back
The disappearing breath,
separating me
From the hazy image
Of the thirsty ones
Drinking off Him!
I wish to stand here
Trembling forever.
For sweeter than sweetness
for me is the pain
Of the unquenchable!
