Another scintillating episode of our series ‘In Conversation with the Mystic’ took place at the Indian School of Business, Hyderabad, yesterday. Dr Prathap C Reddy, the founder of the Apollo Hospitals Group, held Sadhguru in conversation for about two hours in front of an august gathering and with a worldwide audience tuning in via live-stream. Jhansi, one of Hyderabad’s favourite television personalities, emceed the proceedings.

The range of topics was wide. Naturally enough, given Dr Reddy’s background and life-work, health featured prominently: one of his first questions to Sadhguru was the prescription for good health. At another point, Sadhguru stressed the need for building up the nation as well as national identity. Strengthening the string of spirituality that has always existed in India is the way ahead, he said. Rural health policies, yoga, the potential of being human, the idea of discriminating between good and bad… all made their way into the fascinating discussion. The present audience too was pleased to pose a few questions. Throughout, Sadhguru had the audience chuckling at the jokes and witticisms that peppered his talk.

Earlier in the evening, Telugu film personality Tanikella Bharani released a new book titled ‘Sadhguru Subhashitalu’, a compilation of Sadhguru’s writings.

The following day, the Hyderabad volunteers were treated to a live Sathsang with the master. Preceding this was a lively concert by Sounds of Isha, which was covered by the news channel TV5. With their exultant melodies and boisterous rhythms, the group quickly brought the crowd to their feet.
