The preparation for the yantra ceremony started one day before the event. All the Avighna Yantras were lifted by a crane and placed inside the Sadhana Hall at the ashram premises on 22nd night. On 23rd morning, Sevadhars and Devi Sevakas started transforming the hall. They were in full swing making arrangement – be it cleaning the floor, or spreading the carpets, or aligning the wooden boxes. By noon all the Bhairavi Yantras were also placed inside the hall. The boxes were covered neatly with a red cloth and the yantras with the mercury lingas were placed on top of them. The ambience started setting in.

The dedication and the sense of offering of the Devi Sevakas were incredible. A group of people stay in the ashram for 15 days and do seva or service in Bhairavi temple from Amavasya to Pournami. This is a new opportunity offered by Sadhguru for people to receive Devi’s grace. These sevakas gave themselves totally. Sadhguru always says ‘Every society needs individuals who will go on planting mango trees without thinking whether they will get to eat the fruit or not’, and they were a living example of that.

In Isha, decoration is one aspect that is always stunning and admired by everybody. This event was no exception. Each yantra was decorated with flowers, with a brass lamp filled with ghee placed besides it. Strands of jasmine were hung on the walls of the hall interspersed with clay lamps filled with oil. Shenbagam flowers were aligned in two trays for Sadhguru to offer to each of the participants. Every little aspect was taken care of, to create the right kind of atmosphere.

An hour before the event all the lamps were lit and the view was spectacular. Devi was glowing from everywhere.

The excitement on the faces of the participants and the curiosity in their eyes were obvious. At 8.30 pm, they were all oriented about the process. From 10 pm to 11 pm they all took a dip in Teerthakund to prepare themselves to receive the Grace of the Devi. On one hand, they were all excited that they are going to take Devi with them and on the other hand, they were all overwhelmed that they are going to receive the yantra from Sadhguru.

More than 120 participants were there, with 40 Linga Bhairavi and 27 Avighna yantras offered in total. Many residents and volunteers gathered outside the hall to have a glimpse of Sadhguru and while passing them, he looked at everybody with a magnetic smile on his face. The process started sharp at 11.30 pm and ended at 1.00 am. Children and the family members of the people who received yantras were waiting outside despite the pricking cold. Sadhguru came out of the hall, offered flowers and blessed all of them individually.

Next day the yantras were packed and offered to the participants. There was a remarkable difference in them before and after the event. One can clearly see an extra ounce of energy, enthusiasm, clarity, and joy in them. They felt very grateful to each and every one who was a part to make this happen for them. And above all, they were delighted to take the Divine Feminine form with them who will take care of their prosperity and ultimate wellbeing.
