A joyous bunch of Isha volunteers organized Isha Kriya Day at Woodlands CC (a popular community center) in Singapore. Over a hundred people from different segments of society and multiple walks of life received the wisdom of yogic sciences during this free session.

Designed by Sadhguru, Isha Kriya is a simple yet potent meditation which makes one drop of spirituality available to every human being. This powerful spiritual process is available as a free online guided meditation, and is also offered in sessions around the world conducted by Isha volunteers.

Isha Kriya sessions at Singapore have been growing in popularity among the city’s citizens. This particular event was a breakthrough of sorts as it attracted a significant number of non-expats. Participants were welcomed by a wonderful live performance by Sounds of Isha, Singapore. This created a serene but vibrant atmosphere – the right stage for meditation to blossom! A humorous welcome speech by a volunteer brought home the point that “anybody can meditate effortlessly, if only the right conditions are set in their body, mind, emotion, and energies.”

The participants were introduced to Isha Kriya through a video of Sadhguru’s, in which he explained that the purpose of this meditation is to help an individual get in touch with the source of creation, and to consciously create life according to one’s own wish and vision. The guided meditation that followed left everyone in a deep state of peace.

Because of numerous requests and to keep the momentum going, Singapore volunteers are organizing Isha Kriya sessions once a week, usually on Sundays from 10 am to 11 am. Anyone above 12 years of age is welcome to register for these free sessions.

Don't miss the upcoming Singapore Inner Engineering weekend and Isha Hata Yoga weekends this April.
