Previously organized through its partner, the Confederation of Indian Industries, this year the Indian Economic Summit will be handled directly, for the first time, by the organizers of World Economic Forum (WEF). This year’s forum, entitled World Economic Forum on India will address the most critical economic and social challenges faced by the growing nation.

Sadhguru will be attending the event, to be held in Gurgaon from 6 - 8 November, 2012. Under the theme, "From Deliberation to Transformation", the meeting will bring together more than 600 participants from over 40 countries.

Sadhguru will be part of a panel discussion to address healthy living and non-communicable diseases in India. Entitled “Healthy Living: The Future Asset”, the panel will include leaders from business, government and civil society.

A regular at the World Economic forum in Davos, as well as the India Economic Summit, Sadhguru has been called upon in the past to speak in panels with topics as diverse as Business, Rural Development, and Ecology.
